Have you guys posted the ECL20 build that has base saves 40 (Fort, Rflx, Will)??
Emman said that it was already posted, but i can't find the thread.
I really wanted to see the build!
It interest me.. hmmm....
|
Base saves 40? Without the modifiers? What, the build took the first level of each class with Monk-like saves? |

I think the build is still short of classes with all good saves. I doubt that build will ever be finished. It's a matter of finding enough source books.
Aside: What was that power build around Chameleon? I don't remember the source, but if I remember correctly, Chameleon is an abusable prestige class.
(Chameleon is from Races of Destiny.) |

I talked about that with Axis. I don't know if he was able to do the built. |

I knew that the Chameleon PrC is an abusable class. Wow! Talk about interesting builds... Btw, for you out there who doesn't know how unlikely powerful the Chameleon is, it has average BAB and has all saves poor.
I like the builds. I can't see why I can't use them in one of the future campaigns... |

Chameleon is powerful but not very abusable.
Hell, its spellcasting can't even be advanced in epic. |

Which sourcebook contains the Chameleon PrC? Some of them look interesting even if I don't know what most of the classes are.

Chameleon is from Races of Destiny, iirc. |

Factotum5/Binder5/Chameleon10
Be what the party needs at the moment! What more can be said? XDDD |

One of my Brit DMs just concluded the first part of his campaign (the pre-epic part). Here's the character I used. He was pretty handy, not too overpowered but good enough to adapt to almost any situation. And with Bahamut being such a generous patron, it's almost a breeze getting good packages with the planar allies.
Quote: |
DAMIEN CROSS, High Inquisitor of the Order of Bahamut
LG Male Human Cleric 3/Church Inquisitor 4/Thaumaturgist 5/Contemplative 8
|
The team worked nicely together, with most of us pretty much optimized for our roles:
Dwarf Barbarian 1/Fighter 4/Occult Slayer 5/Frenzied Berserker 10 (frontliner)
Half-Elf Cleric 5/Divine Oracle 5/Seeker of the Misty Isle 10 (healer/archer)
Elf Druid 3/Evoker 3/Mystic Theurge 4/Arcane Hierophant 10 (summoner/spellslinger)
There was another male Gnome Bard (played by a female player) whose build I can't figure out, but he sure was lusty-horny, always bedding at least 2 girls every night we're in a town! And what drives me crazy is her roleplaying. D@mn, does she go into those nitty-gritty details! |

Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/Tempest 5/ Dervish 10
Simple and powerful.
-Non race specific
-No alignment restriction
-No xp penalty
-Non campaign specific
-Each class has sysnergy to each other.
-Works up to epic levels.
-Above average saves.
-Good attack roll, AC, damage, and movement speeds. |

You do realize, of course, that the "no XP penalty" clause will only kick in if you level up properly (from 1st level). I mean, if ever you are at Swashbuckler 3/Ftr 1, you'll get the penalty. Just a thought! |

And anyone who does that deserves the penalty. |

Shouldn't it be Dervish first b4 Tempest?
Spring Attack is a bonus feat for Dervish.. So no need taking it from fighter. |

The dervish/tempest are taken in alternate progression. |

Ah, ok
This though just came out of nowhere:
What's the strongest ECL20 Character you can think of with BAB+0?
I'm still thinking about mine. |

I've always toyed with the Dragonheart Mage (Races of the Dragon) PrC. Nothing powergamed, just like the flavor of it all. Can't finish the 20 levels, though:
Sor6/DrgnHrtMage10/?
At first I was thinking of just taking Archmage, but why? What I want to do is to reach 9th level spells for Breath Weapon Admixture (SC), so Dragon Disciple, though flavorful, isn't preferred. Ideas? Or maybe I should just continue the Sorcerer (eew...)? Was originally thinking of a Pharagos-Targaryen bastard child (blue), but with MoA, a Stormcrowned Mage seems appealing suddenly.
Suggestions? |

I don't dig arcanists too much, but I think Arcane Devotee and Incantatrix (FR:PGtF) may work well in filling up your last slots. |

Hmm, Incantatrix is always a stg choice; the PrC is too raped though. I've forgotten where Arcane Devotee came from. @.@
Edit: stg~good |

hmm, another crazy thought..
What's the strongest ECL 20 char with only 1 level of each class it took? for example human cleric 1/fighter 1/monk 1/ ranger 1/ etc...
This time use LA +0 race. (Xtian's idea of BAB +0 made me go WTF) |
