Lorwyn quite interests me a little more than before... Thew flavor still works, I guess. Although as BJ said, MtG has sacrificed a lot of flavor for mechanic.
I think I'm going with the elves here. I like how the elves were developed, though. Horny and hoofy... HAHAHA!
It's interesting how they made a hierarchy for elves that involves their beauty. If I was an elf, I'd say I'm an immaculate. Hehe, talk about ego. Check this out.
That aside, I can see a powerful aggro deck that revolves around Doran, the Siege Tower. Powerful critter here. And I want one. _________________ "When I thought I was alone, I found love..." |

Why is there no humans!?!
Me want to sacrifice human!
Just kidding..
I think changelings with be flavorful..
They somehow are connected with the *SECRET* magic color PURPLE! (They said that the creature associated with purple would be shapeshifters ) _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

goblins, definitely goblins... know why?
Deathrender 4
Artifact - Equipment
Equipped creature gets +2/+2.
When equipped creature is put into a graveyard, you may put a creature card from your hand into play, then attach Deathrender to it.
Equip: 2
Boggart Shenanigans 2R
Tribal Enchantment - Goblin
Whenever a Goblin card is put into your graveyard, Boggart Shenanigans deals 1 damage to target player.
Warren Pilferers 4B
Creature - Goblin Rogue
When Warren Pilferers come into play, return target creature card from your graveyard to your hand. If that card is a Goblin card, Warren Pilferers gains haste until end of turn.
i'll play this deck with conspiracy and a set of gravediggers and a nantuko husk. man i'm quick on the combo! _________________ By the Power of Truth, I, while living, have conquered the Universe!

Oh dear, I forgot to put it in the poll. My bad, sorry.
Anyway, I guess a lot of people are playing treefolk. One thing though: I think they're not that impressive, after all. Treefolks can't stand alone, not like the other tribes. A good treefolk build should be partial controll, I think.
I can see the Kamigawa Snake deck becoming the Elves, for now. They have something close to Sosuke's summons that doesn't reccur, though.
Here's the thing: Elves are crazy in tokens! And I think I have a deck idea now:
Creatures:
4 Elvish Eulogist
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Leaf Gilder
4 Wren's Run Vanquisher
4 Imperious Perfect
3 Wren's Run Packmaster
1 Nath of the Gilt-Leaf
Spells:
4 Gilt-Leaf Ambush
2 Elvish Promenade
4 Cruel Edict
2 Prowess of the Fair
2 Feast of Footbottom
1 Colfenor's Urn
Lands:
4 Gilt-Leaf Palace
4 Llanowar Wastes
8 Forest
5 Swamp
But I think the Kithkin are better in being aggressive than elves.
Teacher-dum, I think your combo is tad too slow. I'd give it 8/10 in originality, and a 7/10 rating on power. _________________ "When I thought I was alone, I found love..." |
