Since I had started spoiling things out in Future Sight, I'll just do it again. And I still advice those who don't want to be spoiled by the cards to be reprinted to hit the back button of your current browser.

This thread is the Spoiler thread for the upcoming set Tenth Edition (a.k.a. Core Set 10). It would be release on July and prerelease would be somewhere on June.

Here were some of the confirmed/rumored info about the 10Ed:

1) Black-bordered. This was spoiled out on one of the Magic Arcana Sections in the MTG site.

2) 383 cards. Bigger by 33 cards than the usual Core Set. That means lesser probability to get the card that you want via boosters. (Source Scrye Magazine)

3) Some of the confirmed cards to be reprinted would be Mogg Fanatic, Incinerate, Nantuko Husk, Mindstone, Nekrataal, Vampire Bats, Story Circle, Howling Mine, Fountain of Youth, Crucible of Worlds, Loxodon Warhammer, Platinum Angel, Lord of the Pit and Troll Ascetic. Not to mention Glorius Anthem, Knight of Dusk and Wrath of God. Oh did I mentioned Wrath of God before?

4) Rumors. Of course there was a rule about printing out of Legends that once a legendary card would be printed, it would never saw print again. What rule? They already screw that one back in Time Spiral (Akroma of Wrath and Mirari). Excited to see Kamahl, Pit Fighter to be printed? No? How about Molimo, Maro-Sorcerer? How about Crovax, Ascendant Evincar? Boring? Okay. Arcanis the Omnipotent and Reya Dawnbringer. Satisfied?

5) Lastly, MaRo claims that 10 Ed would be the core set that would cater both new players and returning and existing players. Whatever blah-blah. So screw the ones who were rumoring about the reprint of Treetop Village and Faerie Conclave.

I sense an interesting 1st Sem.

wow. i dunno whether to be excited or insulted. it looks like they stuck us with the bottom of the legends barrel.

Ascendant Evincar is decent, methinks. As is Cho-manno. Nothing gamebreaking, though...

Cho-manno + Pariah = Classic combo.

The one on the background is Kamahl, Pit Fighter. Of course, I'll not explain further who's on the card with a new art. Source Scrye Magazine.

This just in! A person from MTGS decided to buy Inquest and saw these coming out in 10th (Harhar Inquest spoiled too many cards)

1) The 10 Painlands. Yup. We're not seeing duals for 10th people.

2) Among the lands to be reprinted is Terramorphic Expanse. Whee.

3) No Stone Rain, Verduran Enchantress and Savannah Lions for 10th too. But it's confirmed that Birds of Paradise is still at 10th.

4) Muses. No, not the Muse Vessel. Windborn, Graveborn, Lavaborn, Seedborn and Dreamborn. Yup that's it.

5) Well, just look below for further info.

Artifacts:
-Citanul Flute (5, X Tap: Search for Creature with CMC X then put into hand.Shuffle Library.) (Perfect for Grandeur)

Black:
-Deathmark (Coldsnap)
-Mass of Ghouls (FS)
-Nightmare
-Recover (2B Raise Dead + Draw card)
-Relentless Rats (Hello Thrumming Stone!)

Blue:
-Cancel (self-explanatory)
-Flashfreeze
-Hurkyl's Recall (1B instant return all artifacts in play to their owner's hands) (why the heck did they reprint this?)

Green:
-Joiner Adept (1G 2/1 Lands you control have T:Add one mana of any color to your mana pool)
-Karplusan Strider
-Overrun (nice to be back with the Core Set)
-Root Maze (G enchantment Artifacts and Lands come into play tapped)
-Scion of the Wild
-Tangle Spider (4GG 3/4 Flash Reach)
-Upwelling (i think i could cook up a HeartBeat-like deck with this...)

Red:
-Cryoclasm (in place of Stone Rain?)
-Goblin Lore (1R sorcery Draw 4 cards then discard 3 cards at random)
-Prodigal Pyromancer (hurrah for not reprinting Anaba Shaman!)

White:
-Aura of Silence (1WW enchantment Artifacts and Enchantments opponents play costs 2 more to play. Sacrifice Aura of Silence: Destroy Target Enchantment)
-Condemn (another self-explanatory card)
-Luminesce

hmm, hadn't spoiling others for a while...so I think i had to spill beans for a bit...

1) Xtian mentioned about Cho-manno/Pariah combo. Cho-manno is in. And so is Pariah. And both cards were available in the white theme deck *drools*. Somewhere in the world after reading this part of the thread were diggin' their Pariahs.

2) No Wildfire on Xth. And No Persecute. So as Shard Phoenix.

3) We're opening up 10eds containing 16 cars, 15 playable and 1 extra card. It could be a Token, an Tips and Tricks card or How To Play card *meh*. And chances for opening up a token is 1 is to 3.

4) Seismic Assault is in.

5) Icy Manipulator is still in. And also in the White theme deck.

6) Mass of Ghouls is in as previously mention to replace Hollow Dogs.

7) Darn it. Mobilization is back in 10th.

Lastly, Razormane Masticore is also back. Hello new addition to B/R.

Looks like I'm jumping back into magic when 10th arrives. Back to basics. Away from all the "innovation" of future sight(except for mas of ghouls). Might attend the release, shiny angel+fave format.

Wrath is in 10th. 8Wrath is still on for Lorwyn.
Persuasion is back. Looks like bye-bye confiscate.
Squee is in. Hehe. Annoying bugger.
Anthem(glorious version) is in.
Legends are in 10th, logical because they are a part of magic, and new players should be exposed to such.
