Here's our itinerary/budget for our trip last 2007. 5 girls, we stayed at Alona Kew, super awesome beachfront resort.
If you look closely at the itinerary, we flew to Cebu airport then took a ferry to Bohol. We wasted valuable beach time there, so if we were to plan something, I suggest we take a direct route to Tagbilaran.
There was a lot of free time for just lounging and playing on the beach, as we didn't really want to go look at *coughmentalhospitalscough* or whatnot.
Oh, and there are a few beachfront places with liquor, so we added a bit for booze for one night. Don't worry, it's nothing like Boracay's noisy, noisy beachlife clubs and bars. XD
(I have pics of Bohol if anyone wants to see. XD)

Just to give you guys a headsup. Ticket buying should be done around February next year for an April trip to Bohol.
I just checked CebuPacific's websites, I'm not sure if there aren't any promos yet... or there aren't any more available (meaning sold out!)
Zest Air does have cheaper rates, though.
Xtian and I are scouting around for possible places to stay, but it will most likely be at Alona Kew (where we stayed). If people don't have any problems, 4-5 people can stay in one room, and we can rent 2 rooms (depending on how many people will go for this).
Oh, by the by... I must insist on an introdive for everyone. XD XD It'll be P2.5k inclusive of equipment and boat.
(Can a mod move the Bohol posts to a new thread, please? XD)

Guys, here are figures for the Bohol trip.
WHEN: (tentatively) April 09-11 (3-day weekend, Araw ng Kagitingan on Friday April 09) If people are willing we can go home on Monday. Because of the 3-day weekend, expect that a lot of people will want to go to Bohol, then. So we (and I cannot stress this enough) HAVE to put in our reservations as early as we can.
WHERE: Xtian and I are scouting around for cheap, decent accomodations.
Tickets (Round trip) using [b]Zest Air: (hopefully tickets get cheaper around January next year)

PLEASE CHECK YOUR SCHEDULES ASAP. So I can do a headcount and do more precise budgeting for the trip. We'll ask other people to join when we have more concrete plans, so expenses will be lightened.

ALRIGHT!
The budget for the trip is about P6500 (P7000, with souvenir/booze allowance). That included accomodations and the bohol countryside tour and terminal fees.
P2000 for an Introdive, although this is optional.
Everyone buys their own ticket. Diskarte niyo na kung makakamura kayo sa ticket or if you have someone to sponsor you. Roundtrip Manila to Tagbilaran - Tagbilaran to Manila. Unless you have no plans of going home. XD
As of the moment, Zestair is cheaper than Cebu Pacific, but there may be promos come next year.
I'll post up the itinerary once people have replied and confirmed, as I need to contact Bohol Divers Resort for reservations and fix the itinerary with them.

Alright, here's the thing:
The people who are sure (but not confirmed) to go are for an April trip (Me, BJ, Revan, Xtian and Her Serenity). Now, those who are appealing for a change to May, still aren't sure if they're going at all.

We/I need something definite as I need to coordinate with the resort on dates and how many rooms we need to reserve. Plus, may deposity yun, so if anybody cancels, hindi nila makukuha ulet yung deposit.
I will count having bought a ticket = CONFIRMED. XD XD XD
(I'm sure you guys are okay with the Tagalog, as I doubt any foreigner will have interest in this part of the board. If not, feel free to mod.)

I've been to Bohol myself, too. But the appeal here is not the place per se... You'll be with friends this time, not family. ^___^
And I think that makes all the difference.

Guys, change in plans for the Accomodations.
Due to boy_bakal's eagle eye, he figured out that Pax means "per person". Haha! So... The P5200 is PER PERSON not divided by 2 people.

Anyhoo, I scouted around, and our next best bet is Alona Kew White Beach Resort. Beachfront resort (so we just have to go down to the beach).
Here are the rates:
We'll be taking the Economy Aircon Room (unless anyone wants to go with something more expensive, that's their call. XD). So that's P2950 divided by 2 people = P1475 per night per person. Still not so bad.
We'll be quite near the beach plus breakfast is included.
(Note: These are rates for off-peak, though... So they might get a bit pricier when February rolls around.)

Accommodations:
P1475 / person / day x 3D (Hot & Cold shower plus breakfast)
= P4425
Tour:
P1680 / person All entrance fees, Full-loaded aircon car/van/coaster, Friendly driver tour guide , river cruise, & lunch buffet during the river cruise.
= P1680
Van Fees (From Tagbilaran port to Resort // From Resort to Tagbilaran port):
P700 one way x 2 = P1400 x 7 people (so far)
= P200
Extras (lunch, dinner, souvenirs, booze...):
= lunch and dinner first day / dinner 2nd day / lunch 3rd day = P100/meal x 4 = P400
= souvenirs = P300
= booze = P300
= P1000
Projected Total = P7305
OPTIONAL:
Introdive on the 1st day. SCUBA Diving at Balicasag Island
= P2000
Guys, aside from that projected amount, be prepared to bring a little extra. You never know. XD
