Regeneration + Adamantium (Wolverine) vs. Huffing and Puffing + actually being a feral creature of legend + Regeneration (Bigby)

Tough call, they both have the freaking same abilities (to an extent).

I think Bigby would win since he can regenerate almost instantaneously. Wolverine on the other had just heals fast, but I don't think he can heal himself fast enough

to kill wolvie, bigby would take out his brain / or decapitate him.(get rid of wolvie's healing powers).

bigby seems to be more powerful and more feral (he IS a wolf, and a magical wolf, to boot) than wolvie. not to mention literally immortal.

wolvie is just resilient.

...or bigby would win the congeniality award. cuz wolvie's a jerk.

Wolverine does have regeneration. Decapitating his head may slow him down but not kill him. Twice he regenerated with only bone marrows left in his adamantium skeleton: 1st against Nitro then 2nd against a sentinel. Hulk one time ripped wolverine into two waist down four miles apart. He heals the wound and start crawling back to find his legs.

bigby's immortality question: what kind of immortality does he have? If my research serves me correct his immortality means can't die of old age, not god-like or undeath immortality. Irrelevant anyway since they won't be fighting each other forever. I'm just curious.

Wolverine gets my vote this time for the reason that he's a badass and fought much more cooler enemies than bigby. Three little pigs hahahaha.

If I read Fables correctly, they represent Bigby as having near demigod power. Wolverine has, uhh... sharp claws! That'll help! When one huff and puff could send Logan into outer space!

Bigby. No contest.

Define demigod. His father his god-like so probably bigby as a demigod is just ... part god part mortal; not true god.

And Marvel-verse has its own true gods. Hell hulk even brought down several of them and yet wolverine is not afraid to fight him.

Wolverine. No contest.

Fableverse is ... weak cosmologically.

Alright, let's look at this by the numbers here.

The two combatants have some similar abilities.
-Both are capable of healing. Wolvie's healing factor is stronger by far. Advantage: Logan
-Both have heightened senses. Bigby can use this to read your mind, and has to smoke packs of cigarettes just to block out all the signals he gets. Advantage: Bigby
-Both have wolf-like fighting abilities. Wolvie is trained by S.H.I.E.L.D.
Advantage: Logan

Now, on paper it seems like Wolverine has this match. But it's Bigby's extra abilities that serve as the X-Factor.

Bigby can control winds in the surrounding area. His breath is tremendously powerful, so let him huff and puff Logan into outer space. Assuming Wolverine finds a way to survive this, it'll take him, what, weeks to recover and track down Bigby? Maybe even months. By then the fight would have already been over, and Bigby would've been declared the winner.

In addition, Bigby has exhibited a Nick Fury-esque level of information control in the past. He will hands down be more prepared for this fight than Wolverine, who is most like to just sniff and tear his way to the battle. Also, since this was not stated earlier, I invoke the power of PREP TIME. This makes all the difference in the fight; just ask Batman Very Happy

Oh, and you've seen the entire Fableverse that you can make such a claim? Please. You can't judge a multiverse based on what little of it you've seen. I mean, if we discussed the Marvelverse cosmology based on the first 60-something issues it's released (the number Fables is currently at I think) then we could safely conclude that, if they ever tousled with DC, Superman would just swoop in there and punch a black hole into their multiverse. It wasn't until stuff like the coming of Galactus, the Infinity War, etc. that we really got to see that the Marvelverse could hold its own.

...Supes would die trying to do that now, by the way. Anyone with the power cosmic could will Krypton into being and smack Kal-El around with it like their little biatch.

Tremendously powerful? He couldn't even bring down a house made out of bricks. And I doubt that this breath is powerful enough to put wolverine into outerspace even with his control of winds. An escape velocity of 11.2 km/s is needed and to use air to propel wolverine into space is very unlikely, given that the escape velocity the escape velocity is much much higher than the speed of sound (344 m/s) and practically beyond Bigby's (and even North Wind's) powers.

On having a prep time, then both of them must have the same amount of time. Logan will contact Nickie himself, that is if Logan would want to prepare. While Bigby is gathering info about wolvie out of nowhere logan appears and fight happens in the city.

What you see is what you get. If a comic revolves around puny humans and godlings then maybe the cosmology is limited to those, unless of course there's another comic that revoles around cosmic level creatures in the same cosmology. Fablesverse is weak (as of now) unless there are things that will convince me otherwise like making Fables in the same cosmology as Sandman (yeah Lucifer! 2nd most powerful entity in the (sandman) universe).

The biggest problem in this is the setup of the fight. Arena style combat Logan pwns Bigby. Search and destroy type, still Logan. On a very open area and they are like kilometers apart, Logan must find a way to get close to bigby (or he would lose) or be defensive (hide or something) and hope for a stalemate, otherwise he would lose to bigby.

Then let us agree that this was the fault of the one who posted this as a challenge for not specifying. As such, no decision can be reached.

New Fight!

Asmodeus vs. Mephisto

Battle of the Devils, it's on!

Should've clarified. D&D Asmodeus, Marvel Mephisto.

As it happens, there's also a Marvel Asmodeus :/

D&D Asmodeus official stat, as of now, is the one in BoVD. Marvel Mephisto wins because Asmo is a lameass, stat-wise. D&D Asmo flavor-wise is very inconsistent (sometimes he can banish entire pantheon sometimes he's just a high level monster).

Don't forget that Mephisto has all powerful retcon-fu (hint: spiderman).

Something for the DnD geeks.

If WotC finally decides that one of them will win, who will it be? Demogorgon, Grazzt, or Orcus?

Demogorgon for face value. Laughing Laughing

He's a two-headed ape with tentacles for hands, what's not to like.

But for sheer awesomeness, I'd rather let Orcus win.

No love for sexy Grazzt, then? Laughing I actually think he's conniving enough to have a chance.

The way they're gearing it up, Orcus is meant to win. It's just like WWE; Demogorgon is the defending champ, and Orcus is the hotshot young wrestler who has his eyes on the belt. But by that logic...

...Grazzt is the dark horse in the Triple Threat, whose only chance of victory is cheating of some form Laughing

That emo is never meant to win. That's why he's emo. Look at his weapon, the big rod with skull. It is obvious that he's compensating while demogorgon never needed one.
