Post character stories here. Am currently out of creative juices, though, so I'll postpone the events of 2007-2017 for later. Hope you guys understand.

I have to know, though: Is the Council of seven disbanding, or will it continue to be a cabal after grad? Plus, will they change their Cabal Name?

Here's a rather drastic suggestion:

It seems to me that 10 years is too much of a time leap, both storywise and character-wise. I've been racking my brain thinking of what happened to River Coins in the decade that intervened, and I can't come up with anything that's equivalent to 10 years of personal growth and development. I also think that the 10 year gap XP awarded is too little, considering that we earn that much XP in 2 sessions - did they all hide under rocks during those 10 years to get so little experience?

So what is my suggestion? Cut down the gap to 5 years. That way, you can still radically change the setting (at the very least, we'd have a different President, and they'd be all out of school at that point) and in my opinion the gap XP would fit a 5 year period that isn't as crisis filled as their "year of hell" in UP, but still isn't a tranquil period...

Wala lang, suggestion lang. What do you guys think?

Personally, I'm game with keeping the Council reasonably intact, though Samael will be roving around a lot over the next decade.

Talked with BJ for a while on possible timeline. Tentatively:

Fictional timeline:

2010:
-Supreme court legalizes a third election run for GMA. She runs, and "wins".
-President GMA is assassinated by a cabal of disgruntled military officers.

2011-2014:
-The Chaos years.
-Civil war between various military factions, rebel groups, communists, etc.

2015:
-People Power 4. A total disaster. Malacanang firebombed, rival mobs tear through the streets. Shots fired.
-When the dust clears, an ultra-nationalist faction of tribalists and populists declares Erap as Ponong Datu of the "Balangay ng Pilipinas", an attempt to return to the barangay system.

2016-2017
-Backed by the military and a populace weary of the civil strife, Erap reunites the country, whether we like it or not.
-Rebel movements spike in the Visayas and Mindanao.

EDIT: Recommend changing Council's name once they graduate, as the name of The Council of Seven is traditionally assigned to the junior and senior councils of EA.

one xp=1 year. That's the system I'm using, which is basically how much a typical person should earn.
Rapid xp growth during the past three campaigns since very drastic things were happening.
And I am assuming that magi don't really take an active hand in the rapid events in the Philippines, so no extra xp there.

We earn 3.5 xp, ave, a session. two sessions means 7 xp.

Contradictory.

Here it is: I never said you guys only earn 10xp. I said you automatically get 10xp. That's what the story log is for. Good story=extra xp.

Besides, we won't be playing mage for a while (maybe next week pa). Am currently too busy with wrapping up my DnD campaigns.
