I'll post minor npcs after I do editing of thesis and drafting a letter to a principal. I have few npc ideas and most are fallen Elenian warriors. One is a cleric and another is a balckguard with levels of fallen paladin both with huecuva templates. Both are used as symbols by the Lord Regent to mock the Elenians and as an intimidation to everyone not to go against Arcania. Don't expect the flavor text to be very good but it would do the job. There would be balance between optimization and flavour. The NPCs would be very challenging to the PCs and feats would be selected with both flavour and power on mind. I would not be throwing in feats like alertness unless a its a prerequisite.
What would be the guidelines of creating NPCs? 32 pt buy? elite? creator's call? |

Hmm, these guys are going to be miniboss type? Tough but not incredibly nasty? Sure, elite array sounds good, or 25 point if you want to tweak them a little, equipped as NPCs of their level. Maybe level 6-8?
Btw, I also need help designing githyanki gish, preferably elite array, though with maybe one or two with 32 point, around Lev 4-6. You have Dungeon 100 with you, right? Can you build me a sword hunter? What's the minimum level of those guys?

Reqs:
Githyanki
Any evil
BAB: +6
Knowledge (the planes): 8, Survival 7
Alertness, track
ability to cast 3rd level arcane spell
And special of must have recovered a silversword.
Fastest combination I think of while typing this:
wizard5/ranger4 (track is a bonus feat)
wizard5/barbarian4
Level 6-8 gish? hmmm... I think mm4 has githyanki gish, wiz5/ftr2 iirc. I could increase the class levels if you want or create from scratch. |
