That's okay, I like challenging stuff. Very Happy I don't doubt that it's a really brutal setting, but... hearing that sort of thing just makes me even more interested. XD

Actually, I was also thinking of setting up a forum campaign for you guys, especially since I haven't run one before (I've played in a couple already).

But then again, I'm not too familiar with Pharagos, and you guys aren't too familiar with my campaign world, Kat'ha. Not to add the low user turnout of the boards. :p

Only thing that would prevent me from joining is lack of time. I have a GE subject now that acts like a major subject. Damn you teacher! Evil or Very Mad

So is the Dark Sun setting still good to go? If we restart the old DS campaign, at what level do the new characters come in? I want to know at least that much before I start rolling dice on IC for character stats.

Well the new characters start as ECL 18 characters. As per items and stuff follow the DMG restrictions. For ease in gaming have copies of your prestige classes your spells and your feats if they are from other sources.

The party composition now is:

Xtian- Divine Arcanist
Boy_bakal- Dual Arcanist
BJ- Psionic Arcanist
Revan- Martial Arcanist

If there's any other player who wants to join let us convince him/her to be a skillful arcanist. Pref rogue/arcane trickster or beguiler.
...
Revan and Boy_bakal, Me and BJ have something to tell you. ^__^

Yeah right. I was doing all the healing and BJ was doing all the blasting.

Anyway about your question about time stop's duration, here it is:
http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicOverview/spellDescriptions.htm
d20srd wrote:
Timed Durations
Many durations are measured in rounds, minutes, hours, or some other increment. When the time is up, the magic goes away and the spell ends. If a spell’s duration is variable the duration is rolled secretly (the caster doesn’t know how long the spell will last).

Wink Next time, buy rod of metamagic to maximize your time stop. Very Happy

Hey, can't blame me for that. My spells are useless against illusions or something that I can't see.

Because of those rules, the whole time stop thing isn't working out right now anyway. I need to wait until I hit epic to be of some use again ><

Well, an update to you guys.

You ventured into the assasins guild and passed Miseki's test of your personalities. As one of her servants came in the room, he tells that Rajaat's awakening was just a minor part of a greater conspiracy. It seems that not Rajaat alone was to be awakened but it was all the other dragon kings that died during the collapse. Now the Dragon Kings Boryss, Tithian, Rajaat and the Shadow King lives. Miseki gives the adventurer's enough time to ready themselves against the tyrants. He sents them out to find the Dragon king of Urik, Hamanu, who has survived the collapse to at least beseech for his help. Now they have to venture within the deserts of Athas under the unforgiving conditions of the Tyr-Storm.

OOC: when miseki told the party that tyr was doomed she was not referrin to what Sakkath was about to do to it. She was referring to what would happen to Tyr now that it is back under a sorcerer-kings grasp.

Dark Sun Ending:
As the brave adventurers set off from the Assasins Guild's tower. Miseki warned them from the dangers of setting off thru the desert via use of magic and psionics. But the adventurers turned a deaf ear on the warning still taking on the dangers. Unknown to the adventurers the desert is the kingdom of King Borrys, the first of the dragon king, they tried to teleport to Tyr but was diverted into some point in the Desert. The Sorcerer King warned them for the first two times but on the third try, the crazy Dragon king's infinitetessimal mercy was cut short by the insults and the insolence showed by the would be champions of Tyr thus resulting to the obliteration of the characters.
A day later, the heroes were given a chance to continue their quest as one of the Greatest Psionic masters of Athas offered them another chance to live but the heroes lost hope for any chance to fight back against the dragon tyrants and chose to continue their journey in the after life.

Actually i wanted to end the campaign already, first and foremost i would like to dedicate to enriching the Pharagos campaign world and there were also many faults in my part. You weren't suppose to be that rich actually what was funny even wood was a rare commodity in Athas and your party had no limits which was my bad.

Sound good btw but did you know that there was less chaos in athas when the kings where around rather when they were dead. I think a Machiavellian PoV is better.

"It is better to be feared than to be loved"

-Machiavelli or something heheheh Smile

We were ass-poor. I think. Sad Compared to other 21st level char's at least, our cash flow sucked.

But hey, it was Athas. Laughing

I'll miss Apoei. He was my 1st psionic chAracter. And prolly the last. Nothing against psionics, but it's just not my cup of tea. Laughing

Yes, he didn't he actually became one of the champions of King Tithian a.k.a. he was the king's pet. Actually the best position for anyone in athas.
