Hi.. So far I have been playing DnD 4.0 back in the tambayan. I've been hearing stories about the fun you guys had back in 3.5 and so I thought I want to try it. Any thoughts?

D&D 3.x is woefully overloaded with brokenness and inconsistencies, IMO. If you want to start with 3.x, my suggestion is to instead go for Pathfinder by Paizo, the guys who last Published the Dragon and Dungeon mags in print form. Dubbed s 3.75 by some, this is perhaps the most balanced version of the 3.x system that you'll get. Of course, you have to buy the books (luckily, they sell their books in pdf format so you don't have to look for print ones locally), but I think it will provide for an overall better experience than 3e or 3.5.

Of course, we survived the "broken" v3.5 and their useless-past-level-4 fighters (dig through the boards archives for references), so maybe it isn't as bad as I make it out to be. If you're decided on this route, there are many people (including me) who still has the core books. Very Happy

I already have copies of materials for 3.5 from Acid Blue. I'm currently in the phase of reading the books. Actually I think there are members of the org that also wants to play the game but we don't actually have a DM and common time.

It seems that you're set then. IMO, though, if you really want to play, someone will rise up to take the DM chair. It'll be hard if no one takes the initiative to do so.
