Played pokemon since high school. I can say I was forced to do so due to the increasing demonic weehoo on magic at that time. Played in tourneys and all and actually earned badges. But looking at myself now I would tell him why spend 20 pesos for a piece of energy card. _________________ Only by confronting your darkest fears can you find the light...

Mine was the time when people panic buy energy cards since the players in Paco Catholic School owned at least three decks at a time. _________________ Only by confronting your darkest fears can you find the light...

hehe, pokemon didn't last as long as M:tG lasted in our highschool, though we did battle at times.
My classmate had Charizard EX, which can deal potential 200 dmg
And the fattest cards are 120HP
unless they're one of these new cards which had boost on HP, making them 160, though Char EX could still kill it _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

charizard ex would not stand a chance against a mime since his damage would just be reduced to 10 damage and the damage could easily be removed by an Alakazam. _________________ Only by confronting your darkest fears can you find the light...

sadly, i didn't have those cards
All i had was a crappy kabutops, which i had to raise from Mysteroius Fosiil, which dies easily
my best card would have been Omastar, which deals 30x4? heads at max, depending on your coin flips
Which reminds me, does anyone own one of those Lugia coins, or any Pokemon coins that were really heavy (for a coin) and supposedly "official coin" for tourneys? My friend has one, and it was troubling enough to flip it _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

I own one. Used it once against someone who tried to steal my Hitmonchan. _________________ Only by confronting your darkest fears can you find the light...

Actually it could be upgraded to a competetive one. You have to replace the evolvers with the cool basic grass pokemon. _________________ Only by confronting your darkest fears can you find the light...
