Yo guys. Philip here again. I bought dozens of cards yesterday at Comic Quest in SM North Edsa. (Woulda bought at Neutral Grounds in Trinoma, since I hear prices there are sulit, but my parents would've killed me for wandering far.) There, I decided to handpick my cards for my starter black deck. I need you guys to check it out and tell me whether it's balanced or not.

I am a beginner in this as well, for people who don't know yet, so please also tell me whether it's good enough for a starter deck. Thanks for the help! Very Happy

Since this is your first deck, it might be better if you played around with it first. Figure out what cards you like, don't like etc. Some deckbuilding concepts you might find useful can be found in this article: Building Your First Deck.

Thanks guys. But I do have my misgivings with the deck... I don't have any creatures that have any power or toughness higher than 2. (I do have Vampire Aristocrat, but I have to sacrifice for that.)

Do you think my deck can stand without any creatures whose power/toughness is higher than 2?

Sorry about the double post btw, BJ.

Just play matches with different decks, as Q recommended. You'll eventually see the strengths and weaknesses of your deck.

Yup, it's best to play against lots of decks in order to know which ones to eliminate. I kinda miss the org so I wanna drop by some other time Smile
