Just because there are so many.

Standard Legal:
-Sanguine Bond + Blood Tribute + any vampire - Essentially a two-card kill, since there are enough playable vampires.
-Hagra Diabolist + Rite of Replication (kicked) - Kicked RoR puts five Hagra Diabolist tokens onto the battlefield. As each HD comes into play it sees five allies etb and one more on the field (the original HD, obv), so each ability triggers for 6 damage (i mean, "life loss"), and so you can have target player lose 30 life that turn.
-Bogardan Hellkite + Rite of Replication (kicked) - As above, but arguably easier to pull off. You can flash in the hellkite eot, then follow up with kicked RoR and possible Negate backup.
-Ob Nixilis, the Fallen + Warp World - Harder to pull off, but if you get this right and with enough lands in play, it should be a hilarious kill.
-Bloodchief Ascension (w/ three quest counters) + Archive Trap/Mind Funeral/other good mill cards - Could spawn a strange burn/mill hybrid (I mean, you gotta get counters on BA somehow), but this is pretty awesome. If your opponent searches you cast Archive Trap free, and with an online BA that's 26 damage (oh, and 26 life gained, if it matters).
-Font of Mythos + Archmage Ascension + Quest for Ancient Secrets + Time Warp + Tome Scour - A lot more convoluted than everything else, but lemme explain. This combo allows infinite turns for the low low price of 7 mana. What you do is you get the Mythos in play and the Ascension online. Then you look up Quest for Ancient Secrets, Tome Scour, and Time Warp for each of your draws that turn. Cast the quest, tome scour yourself, play time warp, then use the quest. Since it hits the 'yard as part of the cost to use the ability it'll also be shuffled in upon resolution. Take your extra turn, and look up the same three cards. There you go, infinite turns Razz All you'd have to do is find some viable win-con (maybe Jace if you wanna keep it mono-U, or some kinda weirdo beater for shame value).

Extended Legal:
-Ob Nixilis, the Fallen + Scapeshift - At 7 or more lands, that's 21 damage.
-Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle + Scapeshift - At 8 lands you can sac everything to search up 7 Mountains and Valakut. Guess what, that's also 21 damage
-Turntimber Ranger + Conspiracy - Choosing "Ally" as the creature type, the ranger would trigger off itself up to an arbitrarily large number, creating infinite 2/2 Ally tokens. Possible insta-kills include the aforementioned Hagra Diabolist, Pandemonium, or anything really that grants universal haste.

There are a lot more out there, so if y'all find any lemme know. I'm keeping this list for my sake, as well Razz

i'm liking the vampires in zendikar...they are all playable in limited or constructed and btw the 2 kill combo with the vampires is nice...

lol gayness combo thread.
looks like counter cards are sort of essential, to stop the combo. I don't think aggro decks could catch up. Combo are easily doable, IMO.

i hate mindbreak trap, it's quite mindbreaking. and archive trap too, it's strong. and the lotus cobra it reminds me of the energy drink...i think it will make your deck strong too haha Twisted Evil
