Warm Greetings of Solidarity!
In behalf of the University Student Council, we invite your organizations to join in the upcoming FINAL UNIVERSITY WIDE STUDENT CODE CONSULTATION this coming Thursday (September 17), 5:30 PM at the National Engineering Center (NEC). This will going to be the last formal university-wide consultation regarding the student code that the administration will conduct before the semester ends; thus, maximum participation of the students is a must.
We also invite you to the OVCSA Sub-offices meeting this coming Monday (September 14), 4:30 PM at Vinzon's Rooftop. Offices that will be present during the meeting will be as follows:
OSA (Office of Student Activities)
OSS (Office of Student Scholarships and Services)
OSH (Office of Student Housing)
UHS (University Health Service)
OCG (Office of Counseling and Guidance)
This OVCSA Sub-offices' dialogue will be conducted in the objective of forwarding and advancing the students' concerns. With this objective, this dialogue will best serve its purpose if it's attended by majority of the organizations.
The Students' Rights and Welfare Committee of the University Student Council will be bringing the collated students' demands presented and forwarded last July 22 during the Diliman Student Summit by the organizations and students for the offices to tackle and address.
We hope that you see these efforts as part of our pursuit for a more democratic governance in the university. We hope that you can send as many representatives as you can.
