I agree. We had our own world-changing adventures back in 3.5 ed. We stopped a world invasion. We invaded the Abyss. We infiltrated the hell. We fought legions of undead. But I think our adventures lacked emphasis on reactions and effects and was focused too much on PCs.

Hey there,
Glad you guys liked the article! Higher level gaming really does benefit from the "Yes, but..." method. At this point, I feel that players really do deserve to be able to do what they want... it's the consequences of those actions that should be the focus of the GM.
Hopefully players will come to understand the gravity of their actions and learn to temper themselves.
Of course, some players might go to the extreme and become the tyrants that they once deposed but that's another flavor of game. _________________ Life and Times of a Philippine Gamer |
