Anyone ever hear of or play this system? It's a quick, one-rulebook game that's made for martial arts chopsocky sorta stuff. I've only read the rules, and I'm curious to know how it plays from people who've actually managed to do so.
Y'see, after reading through the rules a few times, I was thinking that the ruleset might make for a cool adaptation into a Devil May Cry RPG... _________________ I don't go for record time, my friend. I go for record PAIN!

Final Stand is an awesome game for a quick pick-up game when the GM is too brain dead to think of a campaign, or if the group just wants some beer-and-pretzels gaming.
The combat system is ingenious, the character generation is quick, and nice little narrative rules add to the fun and wackiness of the game. Highly recommended for one-shots. _________________ Life and Times of a Philippine Gamer |
