The last thread was locked because it was not helping the situation. It's not that I do not want this topic talked about; on the contrary, I believe we should talk about the org now more than ever. But I also believe that we should not poke at each other and lambast each other's opinions. Not when our attention is required elsewhere.

People from both sides love the organization and all that it stands for, but have different ideas that clash with each other. That in itself is okay; but when we bicker among ourselves in the face of adversity, when we try to put the blame on either the members or the EXECOM, we only divide ourselves further. Rather than talk about whose fault it is, let us uphold our virtue of camaraderie and try to work toward a unified goal.

The way I see it, the org is divided into two sides:

*Those who want to kill the dying dog
*Those who want to nourish it back to health

What we have here is a clash of morals. Euthanasia VS Caregiving until the end. Now, like most moral dilemma, neither side will concede their opinion. It is simply what happens when both parties think that they are doing what is best.

What we need to do is gocus on a unified goal, and to me, I see that both parties want to do that final activity. So, this thread is the continuation of the locked one, but is dedicated to working towards the resolution rather than the aggravation of conflict. In other words, talk about the activity planning here.

Why is it important that you talk about the activity here? As an org that lasted for more than 3 years, not all people who care for it are in the tambayan everyday. We, the alumni, would like to help you in any way that we can. We are, however, limited by our stricter time schedules. Our lives require planning at least a week in advance. We can help, but we have to plan this. And, most important of all, you have to ask for our help so we know what to aid to bring.

The EXECOM is within rights to perform the dissolution, and I will not stop them from doing so. I've said that much before. But I also said that I do not want the org to die.

PS. Please disable sigs in this thread so we are not distracted. I will edit them out if you don't.
