Campaign Synopsis Windspiter's Rock is a quiet little port town at the edge of the continent. Once a strategic military choke point, it has, over time, grown to house people of all sorts, eventually transforming into a merchant outpost.

Naturally, it is now, more than ever, that the Rock is at its most lethal.

Basically, I'm taking over the Tuesday game. I'll be running an entirely new scenario, for lower level players, but as yet I still need to think it over. Right now all I need are players, so if any of you are in do please say so.

I'm interested, though I can only game from 1 pm onwards. Might use Kirus again if erwin doesn't run his Spiral campaign this sem.

Same time, same channel, different story. We can game immediately, i.e. this Tuesday. Just gimme today to work out the kinks and set something up.

Currently I count four players. I leave it to you guys to coordinate as to what roles you'll be covering, etc Very Happy

That's 6 players: d_a, juaberman, revan, oghma, Q, and AAS. Iirc all roles are covered, so everybody else build away.

To those of you who weren't originally teamed up with N-Spire and Xander, do think of your backstory. I'm gonna need something to work with regarding how to incorporate you guys into the story.

Xander will be leaving the party when we get to new euresia (he needs to see his family there), in his place, Wreston (qbf's lvl2 paladin) will replace me.

i think this'll be better for the party since it lacks some meat shield, and im pretty okay pulling my character out (he's level 3 already Very Happy

Aaaawwww that's sad. Oh well.. whatever.

Two leaders aren't bad. The healing capability doubles, and as such a defender may not be needed as much. I can't quite get a feel for it yet, though. Who are the characters (not players) currently in?

Well, okay. You can't have twin sisters. Because if you have more than one twin, then you three are triplets. Razz

*sighs* The English language can be so ambiguous sometimes...although given the logical failing of twin sisters...I'd imagine that it'd mean either younger or older sisters that are twins.

Oh and the lineup aside from Xander was Atreus, Limerick, N-Spire, Kirus and Allen. I think Juaberman realized we needed a tank when everyone except Limerick dropped at one point or the other in the last encounter. I came very very close to dropping too. Rogue with defender AC ftw. XD

I don't know... Don't you have a swordmage already?

Or is the "swordmages are not sticky" stuff in the 4e charop actually true? @__@

Our Swordmage has striker hp at 25. >_>;; We're pretty much team paper.

Huh. I thought swordmages were defenderishly insane with their AC. Oh well.

In any case, experience has taught me that two defenders makes the game into a marking fight. Although that could be mitigated with more than 1 big threat.

Maybe he should just get Toughness ASAP. Defender hp beefs up pretty fast, anyway.

But yeah, a double defender would work, so long as your not fighting a solo. Wink

But yeah, pallies make good defenders too.

I think Q's main problem is he's a level 1 defender at that time, and he doesn't have that much Con score in the 1st place, but after a level I think he'll do better. It's just a matter of playstyle, but I think he's trying to be more strikerish than defender. You just have to remind him about he's primary role Wink
