Proposal:
If possible list in-game duration of campaigns, in terms of days, weeks, or months, depending on the campaign. Also, declaration of where is your character, whether active or inactive.
My point here is for us to tell how long has it been since the 1st campaign (I'm assuming Caves of K'maht was the first, in game time). I was planning Wasteland Arena to be a yearly/monthly thing, in-game time.
Character location is for, well, to know where they are. Though the main reason for this is for the people from the Playground and the "Daemoscar land" (the current "continent", where most of the campaigns took place). I was planning that there is no actual easy way, so to speak, to travel from Daemonscar to Playground, and vice versa, currently. Ships need guards (hence making the campaign) to survive the trip, with pirates and possible sea creatures (the team encountered sahuagins last time).
Their location sort of prevents them from joining campaigns from other lands, or from places they currently can't go into (for possibel future lands/areas).
This maybe OC actually, we don't really have to do all the jotting. But it's for formality, and possibly documentation. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

Remember, erwin, that the current games are to help lay the history of Bonethrall. After there have been sufficient games, the fluff team will have to conceptualize history on their own, based on the games that have been played. That's why it's important to have Campfire entries, as that will be how the fluff team will base the history on.
We simply get the added bonus of having consistent characters with levels to boot.
At least, that's how it was when we first proposed using BT. Whether or not that has been changed, will be up to the fluff team. |
