An RPG published by White Wolf where you play as children of various Gods. Uses roughly the same system as Exalted & World of Darkness. I have a hard copy of the core rulebook & pdfs of all the books. I tried it out w/ my friends & we ended up having a 4-man group consisting of Scions of Baron Samedi, Thor, Hachiman & Morrigan. |

I want to play it but my current gaming groups are into D&D 4E for one and L5R for the other. _________________ I don't go for record time, my friend. I go for record PAIN!

I have the complete set for the series if anyone's interested & there is an active "modding" community as White Wolf encourages players to come up with their own pantheons based on real-world religions. I've even seen an Islamic/Judeo-Christian Pantheon with Jesus, Lucifer, Gabriel, Michael, etc as each being able to create Scions of their own. Was wondering if anybody has ideas for a Filipino pantheon & who would be in it? |

Off the top of my head there's Bathala of course and Bakunawa (who could either be the god of despair or just some huge dragon-slash-sea-serpent).
Wiki's actually got some stuff on Fil mythology. _________________ I don't go for record time, my friend. I go for record PAIN!

I have done in-depth research on the Filipino pantheon. Unfortunately, I am reserving the fruis of my labor for the d20 GSL product that I'll be releasing early next year, so I will not disclose specifics here.
Feel free to ask questions abot the pantheon, and I'll answer to the best of my ability if I have the time. It is worth mentioning that about 75% (well, 45 after the recent edit) of wikipedia is incorrect with regards to the topic.
I should mention that Bakunawa is soo not the god of despair. He's most commonly known as the draconic ruler of the seas. If there's an emotion/belief associated with Bakunawa, it'd be gluttony. _________________ Nosfecatu Publishing |
