So, who's seen it?
Don't Mess with the Zohan: Another one of Adam Sandler's comedy flicks, this movie features the actor's usual funny man antics. It highly utilizes blatant sex and sexual connotations for its plot... Wait, what plot?
Well, you can say that it has some plot, since it seems to be a social commentary on the Israeli-Palestinian Holy War on the "Promised Land" since before Jesus. Or better yet, it's a commentary on War in general. It has special mention of several American political icons, and it spoofs Middle Eastern migrants in America.
Still, to hell with plot! Don't Mess with the Zohan is CRAZY! For one, it builds up Zohan (Adam Sandler) as a military special ops agent who wants to live a peaceful life by becoming a hairstylist (wut?!) and make the world smooth and silky. He does so by escaping his Jewish parents and flying to New York as a plane stow-away, using dog names as his alias.
The movie is enjoyable in its own Adam Sandler-ish way for those who liked his movies like Little Nicky. Adam Sandler is backed by Deuce Biggalow, Rob Schneider (as a Palestinian migrant apprehended and robbed of his goat by Zohan, mind you). It has certain dry areas, and the comedy can be a bit off at times. At some point, the sex antics become undesirable, but overall, the movie is viewable from start to finish. |

Alright! Adam Sandler + Rob Schneider is back!
It's been a while since one of them cameo on the other's film iirc.
You can do it! |

Rob schneider wasn't on that drama movie adam sandler starred on. (can't remember the flick's title, don't if it was a hit or a flunk.)
Also, Adam Sandler wasn't on Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, iirc.
EDIT: Who the hell is Bruce Bigelow?!? Where am I getting these names?! |

*facepalm*
Deuce Bigelow, right. Darn my genre mixing.
I humbly accept your power over Adam Sandler. |

One of these days, I would really have to post all these things that keep popping up to our Out of Context Thread. |

Speaking of comedy... >_> I just dug through my backup files. I still have a copy of Monty Python's Meaning of Life. Not to mention the TV adaptation of Hogfather. Three hours of Pratchett goodness... x3 |

I don't think that's the comedy I'm thinking about. |
