All right, does anyone still play pure Warcraft3? Although I do enjoy the hero-bashing that DotA brings, I am slightly irritated at the fact that majority of DotA players don't even know how to mine gold, harvest lumber, and supply food to their troops in a normal skirmish.  I hope HGC is different in that you guys have explored the original game (besides, I happen to be much better at FThrone than I am with DotA).
So, let me start the discussion. I'm traditionally an Undead player, but I like to challenge myself by playing random from time to time. Thing is, I have a few strategies for Human, and at least 3 attack plans for Orc, but I'm still stumped about the paper thin Night Elves. The only attack for me that worked so far is archer rush with the Dark Ranger Mercenary as my hero. And still, it is easily counterable, if my opponent knows that that's what I'm gonna use...

man I haven't played WC3: TFT in a loooong time. way back when I preferred Orcs, and perhaps Night Elves. Undead was my least favorite of the four available classes. my main strategies involved building a bunch of the strongest thingies and pounding away at people. dunno if that still works, but it worked fine back then.
