Since the org was founded this month, I was hoping all the apps, members, and alumni could get together for a bit of a celebration. Nothing too fancy, maybe just dinner at Mang Jimmy's this Friday? That would be July 11 at around 6 pm to account for classes and the like. It'd also be a good chance for the new kids to meet the founding members and such.

So please reply if you can make it or not so we can plan accordingly.

You're right! Any plans? Maybe videoke/boozer or dinner at Mang Jimmy's? XD It falls on a Sunday this year, so how do we go about this?

Oh, and since most of the alum are already working, can we do it on a weekend, plz?

I will file a vacation leave on July 12 so we could have so much fun together.

We will be having a GA on Monday to discuss the details, but we already have tentative plans for the Org Anniv. Meet up in UP on July 10 (Saturday) morning, then play outdoor games (frisbee, etc). Lunch near UP, then go to teacher_dum's place (he and don5 apparently talked to each other and teacher_dum said that his place is available. Will ask for more info.) Then depending on the availability of the place, people who opt for an overnight may do so.
As I said, we will discuss the details of the anniv on Monday. So please, if you have work on Saturday or are unavailable just post it here or message me/don5.

We were thinking of moving the Org Anniv dinner to July 8 to accommodate more members and almuni.

The 8th is on a Thursday so some of us, I'm speaking on my behalf (hehehehe selfish me) still have obligations the next day thus forbidding us to break loose and resulting us from going home early. Seriously, I'd really like to suggest that moving it earlier means you have less time to plan thus resulting to less time to inform the other members and the alumni thus the same thing as what happened a couple of years ago.

Thursdays will be very hard for working alums (and schoolgoing alums). I, myself, being one of them.

So, I think the safest will be Saturday. Although, final say will be, of course, from the current org members.

I'm pretty sure I'm unavailable both on Sat and Sun, though, so I actually don't mind thursday. Friday is better, though, since at least it's the weekend the next day. Though if so, expect me and other alumni to arrive at around 7pm-ish to account for travel time.

Not available at Thursday. I may be available this Saturday but my boss raised the possibility of overtime. I am available Sunday night. I may be available on 12th if my leave gets approved.

It is actually possible for me to be available on a weekday (except Thursday). I can file a half-day instead. Still subject for approval, though.

Can't do Thursday, might be ok on friday, not sure either way on weekends
