At the tip of the European continent lies a bustling port town that goes by the name St. Abbey. This sprawling metropolis is certainly the pinnacle of human technological advancement. Large steamships make their way in and out of the massive ports; Zeppelins fill the skies overhead; the local constabulary has procured the use of giant metal suits to aid in their daily duties.

Its citizens (or, more properly, "her children") are as varied as the many devices that litter the streets. Dapper gentlemen, refined noblewomen, scruffy little ragamuffins, mysterious wanderers, members of the clergy... any sort of person imaginable. St. Abbey caters to all sorts.

By some wondrous discovery of Dr. Percival Pumpernickel, St. Abbey's more intricate devices are powered by only small amounts of Earl Grey Tea. Such compatible engines, these days referred to as having a "Pumpernickian Design," are so potent that the earliest designs could power the entire city of St. Abbey for one whole night using only 1 lb. of Earl Grey Tea.

However, this is also one of the city's few weaknesses. A good 20% of the city's machinery is now constructed with Pumpernickian Engines, and as such requires a constant supply of Earl Grey Tea to be run. Ordinarily this poses no problem; as a rich and bountiful city St. Abbey is able to easily trade for the copious amounts of tea required to run its machines. Recently, though, this trade was cut short by one Kazamachi Wilhelm, who is known as the Blooming Lotus of the Seven Seas. Their tea supply waning quickly, the citizens of St. Abbey quickly fell into despair and desperation.

Not wishing to see the motherland crumble to dust, the city government has started assembling teams of St. Abbey's children to fight back against the tyrannical ninja pirate overlord. With the backing of groups such as The League of Dapper Gentlemen, The Society of Refined Noblewomen, The Alan Quartermain Hunters' Circle, etc. it appeared the battle for St. Abbey was well underway.

That is all you need to know, child. For this is your story now.

Do you have what it takes to save mother from the brink of death?
---------------------------
OoC note: This is a Storytelling System-based campaign, very rules light. The story revolves around dapper gentlemen taking on ninja pirates.

And... actually, that's pretty much all you need to know.

Just one other thing: we play Tuesdays, 1-3 pm. That's about it.

We played one session, but that's about it. It wasn't as sporadic as one might think, and actually had potential, but there was little to no rules structure to speak of Laughing
