I want to run a short campaign of maybe one or two sessions next week for New World of Darkness using the core rule book (normal humans only please). So I'm wondering if anyone is interested. I'm pretty much available from nine to three in the afternoon except for 11:30 to 1:00 on Thursdays if Phil is going to take that for his Star Wars campaign. I intend to use this short campaign as a test run to see if I can be a storyteller without going mad. If things go well, I'll probably use the same slot (and the same people if anyone who signs up is still interested) to run something more ambitious.
If you want in, drop your name (I haven't completely linked board sn to rl names yet) and your available times. I have a rough story idea with basis on WoD's horror genre roots but I do want to see if I have players first.

For anyone interested my requirements for PCs are as follows:
Age: College level-ish up to sophomore standing. For convenience's sake they shall be U.P. students.
Relationship: The PCs and three NPCs (information to be posted by the weekend at the latest) makeup your character's "barkada." I leave it up to you people to tailor your personalities to make the group dynamics fit.
Weapons and training: I'll allow any weaponry and martial art training as long as it's readily available to civilians. Guns are at your own risk though considering the story (details below). And yes, I am allowing Armory. I have a pdf copy though if you'll use anything from it, I'd prefer that there be at least one copy present of the book or at the very least the part of the book you're using.
Starting Scenario:
Two of your friends have disappeared. The police have been contacted by the worried parents but so far it's considered a missing persons case until proven otherwise. Your friend, the last person to be seen with the two, has been on edge ever since and then you receive a text message from him the night before asking the group if you could all meet up tomorrow saying that there's something you have to know.
Schedule is Monday 11:00 to 1:00

NPCs
Vivian Reyes
Age: 18
Year Level: 2nd
Currently Missing
Smart, pretty and incredibly weird. Vivian approaches the world with a naive clueless quality about her. A European Language Major, she has already taken some Latin and French. She is academic though athletic as well and is a master of Kung-Fu. A bit detached and silent, a lot of people find her rather strange. She has a tendency to punch people who annoy her. Attracts panicky men who are likely masochistic, which baffles her incredibly.
Sei De La Torre
Age: 18
Year Level: 2nd
Currently Missing
A Fine Arts major, she has been friends with Vivian since their elementary years. She is not as physically active as Vivian. She loves comic books which influences her art greatly. A lot less naive than Vivian, she engages freely in sarcasm, being quite bitter at times. She also writes. Level-headed, she is the voice of reason of the group.
Ryan Gil
Age: 17
Year Level: 1st
A Chemical Engineering major, Ryan is probably one of the smartest members of the gang as well as the youngest. He is a bit unsure of himself, having a tendency to stutter and give way to much more forceful personalities. He dabbles a bit in photography as well and the occult. His parents are rich and he has never found himself lacking. Lately, he has been more nervous than usual and has asked everyone to gather.

Eeth
Eeth is...well...Eeth. He's a bit of a well kept secret of the occult community and is largely considered by those who know him to be the best occultist in the Philippines. He has a number of books published on various subjects ranging from kabbalistic magic to modern new age spellwork. He owns a small antique shop (only open at night) in Krus na Ligas which doubles as his home.
In truth however, Eeth only has three concerns booze: smoke and women. A hard drinker, his liver is iron as the number of alcohol he consumes on a daily basis could easily kill any other man and the reason his shop is always closed when the sun is up is not because he's a vampire but because he spends his days in the U.P. Academic Oval eying the kolehiyana's and making a number of indecent proposals to the more prettier ones all the while being a walking smokestack in flagrant violation of both the anti-smoking law and the clean air act. He has also been caught peeping into the female washrooms at a number of occasions. He will be the first to tell you that the every book he's ever written and most of the new age magic stuff is bollocks and its only use is to attract hippie new age chicks.
