I've been tasked to create a campaign on wednesday afternoons. "Whatever strikes my fancy" sounds like a good limitation, so here it is.
Castlevania rises again from yet another eternal night. Go in, beat creeps, do boss fights...
Kill Dracula.
Done! A campaign on wednesdays.
Specifics:
*Using stuff from the Ravenloft books. Am still reading, and will upsate as I go.
*Levels 1-10.
Wednesdays, 1-4pm.
*non-final version:
Belmont Clansman[Regional]
Benefit: You gain proficiency with the Whip.
Roleplay: You have a penchant for cheesy lines
Special: May only be taken at 1st level

char creation on lantern parade day. if we get to 4 players, we'll start playing as well.
Might include the taint system as detailed in Heroes of Horror, and replace the alignment system with it.
Decisions, decisions...
EDIT:
Okay, after much thought, here are my character creation notes:
Ability Score Generation: 25pt system.
Race: Strictly Human Only. Other races may exist, but the DM will have sole control over them. Note that the half-Vistani from the Ravenloft PHB (9cf p.41) are still effectively human.
Those wishing to make vampires must have an intimate talk with the DM.
Alignment: Is replaced with the taint game rules as presented in Heroes of Horror (cf p.63). Everybody starts out with zero corruption and zero depravity scores.
For the purposes of qualifying for feats, PrC’s, anyone with a mild taint is considered non-good, anyone with moderate or worse taint is considered evil.
Open Books for Classes, PrC’s: PHB (but note the class differences detailed in the Ravenloft PHB), Heroes of Horror. Other classes may be available at my purview.
Clerics: Should have a talk with me. I am only allowing four deities, and it is an adult matter that deserves warning before being played.
Starting Hit Points: Castlevania™ is a horror-based campaign, but I want it to be survivable (if not maddening, hehehe..):
*d4 hit dice Start out with 12+Con Mod hp
*d6 hit die Start out with 18+Con Mod hp
*d8 hit die Start out with 24+Con Mod hp
*d10 hit die Start out with 30+Con Mod hp
*d12 hit die Start out with 36+Con Mod hp
Special: The character is required to have at least one “loved one” (an NPC the character holds dear).
