Should I assume that to mean that you're okay with it, juaberman? Bring jolens too, will you? XD I need a total of five, preferable the not-so-big ones. erwin, bring your two pieces. Those will help. Razz

Still waiting on Knightingle, PMP, and Revan's level 11 decisions.

I was kind of wondering if you were going to propose that, haha! I sort of expected it. Uuunfortunately, I'm going to have to politely decline. :C It's not a schedule conflict so much as a 'we're leaving for Turkey on May 20 and I don't want to do too much to mess up my immune system before then l-lol'-type conflict.

Seriously, I think there are mayflies out there that exist with better stamina than I have. If it weren't for the trip, I'd be game for trying it, but I've kind of realized recently that five hours is just about my limit for any game-- right afterwards, I tend to drop dead.

I can, however, still provide a camera. : O

ETA: Oh right, level 11 choices! Sorry about that.

Paragon Path: Blood Mage (I've heard that this PP has been peppered to death with errata! So I'll have to rummage around for all of them.)
Feat: Second Implement (Staff of Defense)
Retraining: Still debating this, actually-- I'll get back to you on that.

ETA'D FOR THE NTH TIME: OK FINE BJ WINS we'll go if everyone else is going to go. ;_;

I would have been fine with this arrangement if not for the health complication I have recently developed, which greatly resemble that of peptic ulcer. Because of this, I can't stress myself out too much (overly long periods of gaming tend to mentally exhaust me).

Level 11
Paragon Path: Bloodfury Savage (PHB 2)
Feat: Daunting Challenge (MP)
Retraining: Thirst for Battle (PHB 2) to Skill Power: Third Wind (PHB 3)

@PMP: I assume you meant Bloodfury Savage. XD Anyway, regarding your retraining, third wind is a skill power and not a feat. I suppose you meant that you wanted to retrain to skill power, and then take third wind?

Re: The stress issue, let me discuss with Knightingale if we can come to a middle ground - was suggesting a 30min break after every battle to rest up, maybe lie down on our sofas. If things don't work out, then we just won't push it.

In case we will push the whole day game, however, let me remind you guys that the food arrangements might be a little more expensive than what we usually do. Will provide a more in-depth discussion after Knightingale and me sort things out by PM/YM. Smile

@BJ: Oh, thanks. The only thing I remembered about the name was that it had "blood" in it. Yep. Retrain the feat for a skill power. As for my feat, I believe I will pick up Daunting Challenge.

As for the stress thing, I believe I will manage, though thanks very much for the concern. Smile

I. Food

Okay, after talking with Knightingale, I believe the perfect lunch for us will be pasta putanesca. It's yummy, it cooks fast, and it's actually healthy-ish!

Now, the downside is that without PMP to account for (tomatoes and garlic are bad for him, and I've been told that he can bring his own sustenance), that's PhP150/head. If you all agree to this, we'll do it this way: Below are separate ingredient parcels that cost close to 150, and people call dibs on which one they want to bring. My share will be providing the stove and doing the actual cooking. (@erwin: If your're coming, you either have to buy in like the rest, or help me with chopping/etc)

Quote:
Parcel 1:
*100g Capers in vinegar
*200-ish g Olives, Pitted

Parcel 2:
*750-1000g spaghetti
*1 can button mushrooms, whole

Parcel 3:
*1 can anchovie fillet
*1kg ripe, soft (but not rotten!) tomatoes, preferably large ones.

Parcel 4:
*Extra Virgin Olive Oil, preferably Dona Elena brand, get the next one smaller than the 500mL one.
*1kg ripe, soft (but not rotten!) tomatoes, preferably large ones.

Because of this, the required 50peso buy-in will not apply. However, if you feel like you can be extravagant, I'm not stopping you from bringing extra munchies.

Is everyone okay with this? PMP, is it really okay for you to watch us eat pasta? @_@

(Note: If any of you guys disagree, please back it up with a counter-proposal on how to deal with the food. And let's do this quick, as the game's 5 days away at the time of this posting.)

II. Game Reminders

*The deadline for posting complete character updates is on Wednesday. Revan, I'm looking at you. I'd prefer it if we don't wait for the deadline date so that it's easy for all of us.

*We will get to level 12 midway into Saturday's long game, but I don't want the level up to take longer than it should. Prepare your level 12 updates already, and in fact post them here already if you think it'll help. You get a new paragon feat, a utility power based on your PP, and one retraining option.

*Remember that as of last game, you did not take an extended rest after the halfling fight. If you were one of the people who spammed dailies then, it sucks to be you. Please remember Daily count. And yeah, you just got a milestone.

*The jolens are no longer necessary - I found a substitute.

*My Character Builder is back online on the desktop, so I can provide all of you (dark_axis included) with pdf's of your character sheets, if you think your current ones are already too dirty. You'll have to print them on your own, though.

I'm sorry but I actually don't have the luxury of time to buy stuff before hand and I think it would take a lot of time for me to find these ingredients before the game itself. So here's my suggestion, why not pre-purchase the ingredients then total the cost then divide it equally that way everybody sheds out the same amount of money.

That will be fine with me, but someone would have to volunteer to do the purchases. My wallet is not capable of handling it atm, you see.

Is anyone up for it? The tomatoes will probably have to be bought on the day itself, but we have a nearby palengke, so that shouldn't be a problem. Just bring the receipts and such.

I think I'll be paying about 1/3 of the buy-in, and help with the cooking itself. (I think) I'm a good cooking support Very Happy

Good thing I don't have to bring the jolens, for some reason they went missing from my stash of old toys/cards/stuff.

I can buy 'em the day before, no problem. And since PMP'll be bringing me there anyway, that saves me worrying about hauling all of those things around on the LRT. XD

Okay, just so we're all clear, Knightingale will buy the foodstuffs, I'll cook, and everybody else will contirubute.

To give you guys an idea of how things will turn out, I expect 4 "encounters," lasting 2hours each, with a 30minute break after the first and third. the 2nd encounter will be succeeded by a 1-hour lunchbreak. While erwin and I are cooking, the players will be handling their level up.

Yep yep. We can buy it early in the morning here instead, and ripe tomatoes easily get damaged in transit.

I would like to remind you guys about preparing your level 12 options.

Around 12 hours ago

Rikus awoke suddenly, sweat building up on every part of his well-muscled body.In his half-concious state, the nightmare was still vivid in his mind. An unbreakable carapace, three barbed prehensile antennae, sharp, serrated mandibles, a sickening poison...

I await your return to Tyr, Rikus...

Image taken from the Dark Sun Campaign Setting 2E Sourcebook. Used for nonprofit.

Was it just a dream? It seemed so real, as real as the presence of the noble in his mind when he pushes him beyond his physical limits. An attack with the Way? Perhaps he should consult with Agis...

"Right, ask help from a noble." Rikus muttered under his breath. The gladiator pushed the silly thought out of his head and decided to go back to sleep. As his eyes closed amidst the uncomfortable feeling of rain falling from the sky, however, he felt that he hasn't seen the last of the gaj.

He doesn't notice the spiders building a shelter for them.

wow, the giths in Dark Sun looks more savage than their PH3 counterparts O_O

we'll be at the game later, I might be a little late, as I will be trying to find my way to BJ's place. I think I've been there only twice, and I just hitched a ride with b_b, meaning I didn't remember the landmarks, other than the church.

It's a marker for him being.. marked.. by the team defender (mul fighter)
it was suppose to be underneath the figure, but you wouldn't notice it since the dragon is colossal.
