dark_axis has locked in his power choice via SMS, so we're all good. Smile

Btw, don't forget your PhP50 contributions for food! We'll follow the same system that we did last time.

Welcome to level 10, players. Wink

Remember, as an even level, level 10 gives a +1 to all attack rolls and defenses. You also need to grab a feat, as well as your level 10 Utility. Post both of your choices here, and indicate any retraining that you may want to do as well.

Feedback on the game, as always, is appreciated. You'll notice that I didn't throw too many soldiers/brutes this time around. Sure, the sharks still took quite a grind, but I'm hoping that it didn't feel boring. Very Happy

ADD: Oh, since I've been having so much fun with RSS lately, you may want to check out my DM Storage Space. If you have an RSS reader, it'll help if you subscribe:

Level 10 is delicious. I have to say, though, I didn't really feel the time passing with that landshark battle. It must be because I got to try out a couple of new powers and the fact that so many amusing things happened, like certain barbarians falling off walls. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Overall, I'd say it felt a more balanced session, somehow! In retrospect, we technically haven't moved too far along, but between the RP/skill challenge and the encounters, it was a lot easier to immerse myself in the game. Having a lot of character/cinematic-appropriate dice rolls helped, for sure. Very Happy I don't know about anyone else, but I thought the RP aspect seemed extra-amusing this time ("MY CERAMIC PIECEEEES"), and I enjoyed just about everything. :3 Getting to use Booming Blade was the best part.

Hmm. Since PHB3 will soon be out, would it be okay to rebuild or reallocate Agis' powers/attributes/feats?

And yeah, it was a fun. We had a huge brick of RP at the start, but the follow-up fights were fun. Still have no idea for Ardent PPs, will see when PHB3 is officially out.

No rebuilds, Revan. It would be unfair to the characters built with non-PHB3 classes otherwise.

You can re-allocate the feats through retraining, though.

ADD: We got a few pics on last week's game, and these are up on my facebook (courtesy of princessa):

Still waiting on your level 10 decisions, guys.

REMINDER: Next game day is on March 27. This coincides with OGM, so as previously agreed upon, we will game there at SM Marikina. 1-5pm, as normal, but you don't have to contribute food anymore. Just save up the 50 bucks for the entrance instead (though if anyone donates any chocospresso beans that are available there, I won't complain Very Happy).

Although, some of you have mentioned your possible unavailability on that day. When can I have this confirmed?

Since my exam dates have scuttled around, I actually won't have a test on Sunday (it'll be Monday instead) so I'm (tentatively) good to go on the 27th. :3 I say 'tentatively' because things may come up, but for now it looks like I'll manage to make it.

As for the rest...

Level 10!

Feat:
Dual Implement Spellcaster

Utility Powers:
Repelling Shield (AP)
Witch's Reversal (D382)

Retraining:
Ray of Enfeeblement to Force Orb

I'm sorry but I'm definitely no go on the 27th. I just want to rest at the moment since I've been gaming for consecutive weeks. I don't have any problem on you guys continuing to play without me.

juaberman has informed me via SMS that he can't come on Saturday. With dark_axis unable to come, too, that means that we'll have to cancel the game at the OGM.

I will be there, though, and I may run a one-shot game if you guys are interested. Very Happy

The week after will be Holy Week - while I am available on Black Saturday, I have enough Catholic spirit in me to actually abstain from running a game then.

So, all things considered, I believe our next possible game day will be on April 10.

@Revan & dark_axis: That puts the game on the same week as the Eberron game. Also, by aligning with Eberron, it might end up with the rest of the three planned game days coinciding with our Sunday game. That's okay with me, as it's vacation for me, but please voice out if you prefer me to move it to April 17.

I'd prefer not to let them collide, if possible, though that would mean almost month without the game if we push back Eberron, and the same with DS.

I would ask for a resked if it's okay with the rest of the group.

Yes, Revan, there will be yet another resched. It appears I have non-geek activities to attend to on the 10th, and it's nice to prioritize these things from time to time.

Okay, so everything is loud and clear, it would be nice for all of us if we get our schedules straightened up for the 17th. That's about a good month away from now, so there's time and opportunity for us to prioritize it.

So there. The game is on the 17th of April, at my place, from 1pm-5pm. Everybody alright with that?

I'm still waiting on dark_axis, Revan, and juaberman (namrebauj?) with regards to their level-up choices. April 17 is close, so I need these by tomorrow (Wednesday) AT THE LATEST. No post, no game.

Hey guys, don't forget to do what juaberman just did. XD Put in your level-up choices here. Wink

Oh, and yes, unless we get a dire need to reschedule, the next game is on May 8.

Oh, and welcome to paragon level. Cool

ADD: By the way, are you all alright with scheduling the next next (and last) game on May 15? Three of us will be in Bohol on May 22, and May 29 may be closed off to me.

l-lol so... it looks like May 8 won't be doable for me! This is for various assorted reasons, but mostly because of the ~election~ coming up (and my subsequent kidnapping to the province by my family, since I have to be back in Laguna).

I'm good for May 15, though. :[

Oh, hey Knightingale. Sorry for not replying through SMS. Saving up load and all that.

Anyways, with both you and juaberman unable to go, I would have to reschedule to May 15.

Incidentally, that frees up a big chunk of my time this coming weekend. Hmm... I wonder how a 24-hour marathon gaming session sounds like to some people... *think think*

Hey guys and gal.

As you all know, there won't be a game on the 8th due to two people cancelling. That means that we'll have one on the 15th, as we talked about.

However I notcied that we don't have as much time to finish the game before we are pulled back by the realities of the scoolyear. But all we really need after the 15th is just one more session. Also, talking about a 24-hour gaming session got me thinking: Why not have a whole day of gaming for Dark Sun?

Now, relax. I just need four more hours. So here's the proposal: Are you game with playing from 8am-6pm on the 15th? We'll meet at 8, play til 12, then rest/level up until 2pm. Then we continue on towards the finale.

It will make the last game feel special, IMO. We'd have to talk about food a little more, of course, but otherwise, I think it'll all work out. Oh, and if we go through with this, I need five holens (yes, the shiny round things) for props, and it would be nice if someone can bring a camera. Wink

Sounds...interesting. Exhausting, but interesting. Better spike up on the drinks, caffeine, and snacks if we plan to do that, as well as actually planning the foodage for mealtimes.

I'm provisionally go, but I do need to sort out my own sked, as I have an activity with my arnis group the next day. I'll get back to you guys when I have a clearer idea of how that will go.

Wow. sounds very... suspicious? Laughing

Could I come and watch the game? I'll try to chip in for food if it's necessary.
It's been a while since I've seen a D&D game.. in the morning! Very Happy
I could be an assistant DM if needed.

I'll let you come erwin, if you promise to bring the shiny balls. Laughing Laughing

We'll talk about the food if everybody confirms with the 8hr game. But there's a Crispy Pata place here, if health is not a concern. Shocked
