they're cards from the planechase decks. they have mostly static and triggered effects, and effects that trigger from rolling the chaos symbol on the planar die. it's mostly multiplayer oriented, but it can also be used in 1v1 duels.

full rules somewhere on wizards.com. I'd link it but ahm lazy.

Actually, you could look at the other planechase cards at the WotC M:tG site.
There are 10 per planechase deck, apparently, each has their own theme.

Strike Force
Metallic Dream
Elemental Thunder

here is Planechase card rules.

Code:
Chandra Ablaze     4RR
Planeswalker -- Chandra
+1: Discard a card. If a red card was discarded this way, Chandra Ablaze deals 4 damage to target creature or player.

Starting Loyalty: 5
Source.

Another slow reveal card. The interesting part is converting red cards to Flame Javelins. With this and Valakut, Mid-range Red becomes a viable strategy.

Why are the two planeswalkers at 6 mana cost? That's terrible. And why does Sorin Markov look like Drizzt?

I like the landfall ability. for some reason. probably because land search are now possible game pieces now Very Happy

Blood Extractor isn't really that good IMO, not sure as i'm not a black aggro player

Tomb Lord's Quest is a good card, it's been a while since they had an enchantment turn to creature mechanic

LOL Lavaball Trap is cool, IMO, as I think land ramps will take play this Block. Instant Landie FTW! With super Pyro to boot!! It's like mini-Wildfire!!!

Plated Centipede is a good aggro card, it even has 1st strike

Oran-Reed Survivalist is an Ally card! reminds me of WOW ally cards.

Predatory Urge looks meh, unless you enchant it on Uril Mist Stalker Twisted Evil

Wavering Peaks is a good limited card. That's it.

I may be lazy, but I am throwing something too.

*Harrow
2g
Instant
Common
As an additional cost to cast Harrow, sacrifice a land.
Search your library for up to two basic land cards and put them onto the battlefield. Then shuffle your library.

MTGS had it.

Wow; they're really pushing red in Zendikar, huh?

Reminds me of Torment back in Odyssey block, when they pushed black like crazy. I kinda liked it then, and I'm liking it now (even though I never played red).

Then again, I could be dead-wrong; there could be a lot of good non-red cards on this set, after all.

I like her as a fun card. Hoping that she goes for around PhP 120-150... Very Happy

The relentless army of Elvish Warriors can stall Exalted aggro indefinitely. Unfortunately, the ultimate isn't exactly gamebreaking.. Why didn't they print this in Lorwyn, when it would've made sense?
