Hmm...a Dwarf Wizard...sounds like we have someone from the Ioun tower in our hands. Offhand, I'd say check with BJ for fluff help if you want to go with that as his background.

Unless by knowledge you mean something else. o.O

I believe you should get ThunderWave and Cloud of Daggers as your at-will, they'd work great with your high Wis. And get orb, then staff as implement masteries, as your stats do well on it.

This is just suggestions though, you have final decision. Very Happy

Oh yeah, orbs shine at Paragon levels, iirc. Better get staff then.

@BJ: I certainly don't mind... I said I needed your help here, right?

Already chosen Arcana and History as trained skills. Background wil be ready as soon as the busy days are over (by Friday). Included another Daily Power (you said I'd have to choose 2, but prepare only 1)
