EDIT: Replaced Cleave with Sure Strike. After DMing a few games, I realized that minion killing is the controller's job, while the defender just needs to hit properly. Besides, with Eladrin Soldier, my Sure Strike will still deal 1d8+2 damage. Not that bad, I'd say.

I set out from the Ioun Tower on foot, missing Streamstrider's comforting presence with each step. I try my best to bury the discomfort; it is for Streamstrider's sake that I leave the bounds of the Academy.
I remember when I first met him. Whilst all the other students sought to master the arcane arts in their purest form, I, Ereth Aurs'hilk, saw potential in melding it with the dance of the blades. It complimented my abilities nicely, but I lacked both the strength and the finesse to provide true mastery.
It was then that I stumbled upon Streamstrider, a majestic steed with an innate knowledge for combining arcane lore with the art of war. Instead of the deadly dance of parry, thrust and riposte, Streamstrider allowed me to ride him, charging valiantly into the fray. With his magics he gave me impressive strength, making my blade devastating with him by my side. Truly, we were a team outmatched by any other, and we were poised to serve as Faerie Knights in the service of the tower.
But someone has travelled to the Feywild, and overnight, the unicorns have disappeared. They have chosen me, inexperienced as I am, to venture forth to the Crumbling World to look for the missing unicorn glory. I am to restore them to their fields in the Feywild, or to avenge their deaths, should they be exploited for their healing horns. I do hope I only have to do the former.
But if the latter is the case, then I shall deliver my vengeance in the name of Streamstrider. Slowly, painfully, and efficiently.
Proposed Minor Quest: Find and rescue Streamstrider (plus any other from his glory) from whoever kidnapped them. Proposed Reward: Riding Streamstrider (Level 9 Skirmisher) to accompany her afterward. Will get Mounted Combat, to that effect.
Description. Ereth Aurs'hilk possesses the natural beauty of her fey heritage, but like most High Elves, she is simply too aloof. Her long, golden hair dances and twirls as she fights, and her emerald eyes simmer with radiance as she delivers punishment on those she believes are harboring Streamstrider.

EDIT2: Drastic changes. Ability scores have been fixed to prepare for Paragon and Epic feats, all at the cost of one point of attack and damage. I was also considering taking the swordmage, but ultimately this is better, in my mind.
And yes, I'm planning to get either WotST or Paragon multiclassing. Optimized? Probably not. Survivable? I think so. Hooray for 4e. Fun? Hell yes.
