For Those Interested!

I'm handling a One-Shot Campaign! Yey!

ONE SHOT CAMPAIGN
A Infiltration/Retrieval City-based(mostly) campaign.
Setting: Mainly Selentia
Time: post gith-war

Character Creation Mechanics:
Flavor: You are well-known mercenary group (lol)
Starting Level: ECL10
[Ability Score Generation: Two set 4d6, discard 1 lowest (via Invisible Castle or d6 rolls, whichever I witness) 32pt buy if set is unsatisfactory (DM's discretion).
Races allowed: Mostly Core races, with exception on Dwarves and Orcs. They are known to be enemies of Selentian empire.*
Other races are available with the DM's permission.

Suggested Base Classes: I suggest to take classes with high skill points and good class skill list. Spellcasters is also good, using it for stealth. NO PSIONICS (unless otherwise convinced). Laughing
Prestige Classes: Discuss with DM.

Starting Gear: Regardless of starting level, start with standard equipment for a level 10 PC. Max individual gear =half starting gear.

Game Time: Preferably Wednesday. It's a one-shot, don't expect it to be 1 hour long Razz

For more information about Selentia, check out Campaign notes: Selentia thread
Further details shall be posted on Pharagos Thread. Very Happy

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Pls tell me if I'm wrong about this part Revan/BJ.
Khalvin City - a new city I designed near Daggerfall. Will be posting idea on Campaign notes: Selentia thread.

The name beside your name should be the name used if you're using invisible castle

6 players! Might cut it out there.

Maybe I can give this a shot.
Human Fighter 10 with leadership for nightmare mount and mounted combat related feats. Or Human Fighter 9/Barb 1 (CChamp ACL). Wait a minute .. odd level of fighter... what was I smoking .... may swap one level of fighter with exotic weapon master.

Alternatively, human Fighter 4/ Sorcerer1/ Barb 1(CChamp ACL)/ Abj Champ 4. Still mounted combat build and nightmare mount.

Human fighter 8/ Cavalier 2 looks nice.
Elf/Half-elf fighter 6/Wizard 2/Skylord 2. SL is from BOED. Cleric instead of wizard is also possible.
Human fighter 4/ Barb 1/ Moonsea SKy Sentinel 5 looks good. Though I need to do a heart to heart talk with dm. (Sky sentinel is from Champion of Valor).

If a nightmare cohort is not possible, maybe draconic leadership for a dragon mount (untrue dragon though). Air drake and Ice drake looks kewl. Or half-silver dragon spiked felldrake. Rage drake (mm3) has a prize of 15,000gp. It costs money but saves me a feat. Decisions decisions. How much is a half-red dragon rage drake? I want that half-dragon rage drake so it can fly. ^__^

Can you give a price for mastodon(mm3)? Or elephants? Dire lion mount is also a possibility.

@Xtian

*Smack* Down cheetah! Bad cheetah! Do not give the new DM headaches. Down boy! Laughing

@erwin
Well, offhand, monstrous pets aren't strictly illegal, just normally rare and expensive in Selentia. The ability to keep a monstrous pet without being hassled by the law is more a function of status and connections, rather than just raw wealth.

Wait, isn't erwin doing an infiltration (ie, sneaking around) campaign? How does an elephant help?

@erwin: Will you allow:
*Tome of Magic
*Book of Erotic Fantasy Laughing

Trojan Elephant gives me the mental image of... a condom... Laughing

In a stealth-based campaign, I think Wild Cohort+stealthy big cat (Lion, Tiger, Dire versions) will work well flavor-wise. Nightmare is also interesting.

I am actually interested. Hmmm, what are the remaining 3.5 builds I want to try before the new edition?

*Truenamer is interesting. Truespeak is int-based, plus the class itself gets 4+int mod worth of skills. But the class itself lacks the "stealth essentials" (Hide, Move Silently). There are ways around that, of course.

*Fighter2/Human Paragon3/Assassin5 works. I actually get a 3rd-level spell out of it, too. lol. Nondetection FTW!

*Rogue10. SKILL...POINTS!

*Monk builds would also be cute.

@Xtian:

@BJ:
Tome of Magic is good. BoED is a no.
Some of the spells are quite powerful, especially in a place where there are many mundane commoners who does not know any sort of magic. DISROBE!

This thread is just to know who are interested and are willing to join.
For other discussions, such as allowed books/sources and builds, etc. pls head to the One Shot Post on the Pharagos Thread.
