T'would be best to check the site of wizards afterall since a lot has changed since you last played the game. |

It is not that I don't want to research but I want to know what is new in your perspective. What is cool. SOmething significant. I want you to share something you know fellow hobbygamers. Otherwise, I could always find what i want, efficiently. |

basically, the predominant Planar Chaos theme is "breaking the color pie". while this hasn't produced any BORKEN stuff yet, it is certainly conceivable in the future.
currently, as before, however, it's control season for MtG decks... |

actually the truth is that wizards are trying to get the old players by breaking the color wheel, getting back old cards and giving outrageous cards to attract new players but they haven't suceeded in anyway i think. |

I stopped playing because .... i just stopped. It doesn't need a reason. Though i find breaking the color wheel quite attractive to return playing, it's not enough. I actually want to get that blue serra angel for my old control deck.
I stopped playing but didnt quit. Maybe sometimes i could bring my (old) deck and play with you type2 whippersnappers. |

If I'm not mistaken, Lorwyn is Onslaught wave #2, with non-creature Tribal cards to be introduced in the set. |

roughly 200~300. There's a lot of Ajani Vengeant out there, iirc. |

250-300 for prerelease foil. 500-600 for non-foil. Which is weird since in other countries the prices are reversed. Maarte ang Pinoy players e. ^^ |

Wait, what? Why's the foil version much cheaper? |

If I were to guess, it's because the foils tend to get warped. You'd prefer the normal card for games, unless you have your deck hard-cased or something.
In short, practicality over rarity. @_@ |

Actually, iirc it's because a lot of people went to the prerelease, thus the prerel foils were always priced lower since there were "more of them" (I doubt that this remains true, but I suppose the price just never changed).
Oh yeah, I don't think this has been mentioned yet: as of this summer (well, summer in the US), no more mana burn. |

The art sucks. Seriously, that's it. Note that in other countries, the prerelease foil costs twice the value of the non-foil Ajani. Pinoy players just can't deal with the art and the warpiness of the foil.
So, if you want to earn some cash, buy some PR Ajani's in bulk here and sell it in the US. |

The Garruk deck has Rancor in it. 2 Rancors.
it also has wild mongerl, and a lot of efficient beast-type creatures.
and 1 giant growth. |
