I'll see if I can convince the veterans to come earlier for the benefit of new players who'd like to learn the ropes of skirmish. so, there are still no takers to the sponsorship T_T , what do I do now?

Well if new players will be coming there will be no trouble for vets to come early to teach them. I only moved the time to accomodate some players that will not make it at the 11 a.m start

It's alright, chief. I can tag you on the other events after this sunday's. Elou organizes them regularly now. So even if you do miss this one, chances are, there will be another one in the works when you're finally free to join.

I'd like to invite everyone this coming sunday sa gamecrab for our next tourney. entrance fee will be 500 and i'll match the number of players with boosters, so if 8 players will join i'll be giving away 9 boosters as prizes. 1st place gets a whole booster and a rare and 2nd place onwards gets a rare each. So for those who want to jumpstart thier collection join na kayo.

I have a strange question for the minis guys; where can I buy them?
Tournaments are not going to be my thing, most likely; I just want to have a place to buy singles (ala MtG) that can represent certai monsters. For example, I want to purchase a horde of kobolds. Where do I go to do that?

You could go at neutralgrounds, though there are unlikely that many that you want.
You either go straight at dealers (i think), or find a minis player who happens to get a lot of kobolds in his booster packs.

I have contacts to some of them. I believe gareth has minis too, but I recall him trying to make a kobold army with it. 
My phone is currently dead, unfortunately, so I can't give them to you now. I'll PM it if I somehow salvage my contact lists.

Well, gareth hasn't shown up in awhile, but if he's looking for kobolds in particular, then I imagine that he has lots of non-kobold extras that i can probably get from him
For the record, I see kobold collecting as an honorable way to cherish our oftenly-mistreated little reptiles.

Paging gareth:
Do you have the ability to run a D&D Miniatures Legendary Evils Release Event? I'm kind of looking forward to this set, because it has the huge balor, an elder green and iron dragon, a frost and storm titan, an ultimate tyrant beholder, a remorhazz, and other huge minis... And they're all visible! @_@
But, if we wait for NG to stock them, I think we'll have to wait until around October... :/ So I'm wondering if you have enough pull to do this...
