09/19/08 REVAN EDIT: Update to level 4, XP edited, Added +1 Staff of the Warmage, Sacrifice to Caiphon feat, upped Cha and Con at level4, hp fixed, Fire resist fixed. Skills fixed. Perception and passives fixed.

12/01/08 REVAN EDIT: XP, level up, Hunger of Hadar. changing name of Hunger of Hadar to The Locust's Maw, changing name of Sacrifice to Caiphon to Sacrifice to the Locust.

In game, this hasn't applied immediately. Kyris has 5/9 surges remaining.

Character Hooks - Use these whenever you want to incorporate Kyris into a game's setup or story. Reasons why she's there, and what will interest her.

Quiet Lies (Knowledge and Ancient Mysteries)
Kyris fled the holdings of House Lasirlan when she began to realize that many of the "truths" and "histories" of the Godfall War taught by both the Redeemers and Liberators rang false. She now seeks to unearth the true facts behind the Godfall War. The identities of the dead gods, the nature of the godstones, the godslayer artifacts, and the ancient things that lie chained from before the dawn of the gods.

The Locust (Star-Pact)
Kyris was taught Star-Pact magic by her one-time paramour, the Baalim she knew as Locust. Kyris has come to realize that Locust is something more, and that something hides within the mortal shell of the handsome Baalim she loves. She seeks clues as to his nature. Locust in turn sends her enigmatic hints, clues, visions, and dreams that invariably lead Kyris towards further mysteries, advancing her ends, and Locust's.

Killing in the Name Of... (Family Matters)
Kyris has left behind the powerful House Lasirlan, but they are not content to leave it at that. Kyris continues to bear the Lasirlan name, against level-headed advice. The family is split as to what to do about the rebel scion. Some believe that with time, Kyris can be brought back to the fold and back to the role she was raised for: service in the Church of the Iron-Handed God. Others have branded her a heretic, and may even be behind a spate of attempts on her life. Kyris keeps a watchful eye out, but continues to bear the Lasirlan name, as if daring the others to do something about it.

-(Matriarch) Undetailed Darkhope matriarch.

*Mephiston Lasirlan. Warlock or Cleric? (Immaculate iron mask. Traditionalist. Not on good terms with Kyris)
*Phaeton Lasirlan. Tactical Warlord. Possibly the only good contact she has in the family.
*Kyris (middle child)
*Undetailed younger brother and youngest sister. Fanatical priestess sister?

The Teachings of the Unfinished Book (name pending)
Kyris has found a strange, unidentified tome in the depths of the Ruined Sea. It defies her current attempts at translation, but she intends to get to the bottom of the text sooner or later, and will take any opportunity to have it identified or translated. (May take the Linguist feat if a DM wants to detail this further.)

12/16/08 Revan edit: I haven't been using Dread Star recently, and as I haven't used my retraining option for level 5 yet, retraining Dread Star for Crown of Stars (Dragon 366) instead, if tech team approves.

How did it turn into a leather armor? I was pretty sure it was cloth, and I don't think anyone in your paety is a dedicated ritual caster.

Cyrille had it transferred in Ilawith, and then he called dibs on the Sunleaf Hide Armor, so I took the obselete leather.
