I know a guy who works for Google as a researcher. He gets good pay but he says his job is boring.

Thing is...boring job + good pay = more money to actually do the things you want. The good thing about having a JOB is... you get to schedule your vacation (ie vacation leaves)

THIS is why you don't buy a laptop if you don't have a car... or if you're too cheap to even spring for a taxi, at the very, very least.

Robber shoots lady who refused to give up laptop
08/06/2008 | 08:56 AM

MANILA, Philippines - A 23-year-old woman is now in critical
condition after being shot in the head early Wednesday morning
after she attempted to wrestle her laptop away from a thief in
Cainta, Rizal.

A report by radio dzBB’s Sam Nielsen said the unidentified thief
used a .38 caliber pistol to shoot the victim identified by the
Cainta police as Tara Santelices of Brookside Subdivision in
Cainta town.

Santences’ companion Joyce Mejias, who was riding the
Marikina-bound jeepney with the victim at the time of the incident,
said the suspect declared a holdup while the jeepney was moving
along Felix Ave. in Cainta.

But when the victim tried to wrestle back her bag containing a l
aptop, the assailant immediately shot her, took some of the
passengers' bags and immediately fled the scene.

Grah. Evil or Very Mad

Rage. Blood red boiling rage.

pre-Thesis research class is unadulterated batshit crazy, even our advisors agree with us. I'm somewhat surprised that it took something like a month and a half before somebody snapped, and I'm also surprised that it wasn't me who snapped first.

Sleep. Goddam shite. I need to get better sleep.

Fack Fridays. I'm truly beginning to detest fridays. The average Friday is beginning to look like:
-0001H-0800H Cram writing for CW 198. While writing porn has its perks, I'm getting absolutely no sleep
-0800H-1130H Zombie mode. This almost invariably involves being in no condition to go to the French 1011 class, which is another perennial headache. Why the bleeding hell do the geddamned Romance languages all have to be so bloody facking sexist. Every facking noun, adjective and place has got a facking gender bias.
-1130H-1300H Zombie mode while trying to sound profound, or at least as profound as one can get when talking about porn.
-1300-1600H Fumble my way through another half-assed D&D game that suffers immensely from lack of sleep, coordination, preparation, focus, and time.
-1800-2100H DotA. And you all know my anger management issues when playing DotA. And note to self. When you know that a particular piece of strategy recommended by another player won't facking work for you, don't facking do it, no matter how much you want to "fit in with the team". Fack that. If it gets you killed, it gets you facking killed.

Why the fack can't we just play some nice simple shooter where gratification is instant and visceral? I want blood, guts, gore, and slaughter, and not have to wait two minutes to get back into the action at every death.

I feel...unsatisfied...Though that's a fairly weak and imprecise term for the smoldering nugget of rage that wants to rip things to bloody shreds. My damned cat's been getting on my nerves as well. Kept myself from kicking her across the room earlier. Want to facking pound her into bloody smear on the floors and walls. Ha. Right. Little pretentious wannabe bastard that I am. As if I could actually work up the balls to do something that stupidly drastic. Dammit. I'm not usually like this. You guys know how I am around cats. And I know this is facking irrational. That doesn't stop me from feeling royally ticked off about it. Goddam poseur.

*Rips own head of and throws it across the room as it spews invective and curses while trying to maximize the bloodspatter. Shakes fist in impotent rage and stomps own severed head into bloody pulp smeared across half the room. Headless corpse flips the heavens a finger and runs amok trying to smash anything in its path, growling and snarling like a stupid rabid dog.*

This is all going to seem so damned funny tomorrow. But fack that. I'm just angry. I just want to feel angry. And I want to facking feel good about feeling angry. Evil or Very Mad

Grah.

Strange. This girl is a second degree friend, apparently.

But then again, she's a lot of people's 2nd-degree friend. Tsk.

I'm so getting a car before a laptop.

Or, you could go for Kevlar. And helmet. And shoulder/knee pads...

Heck, just join SWAT...

poor girl. well, should have just gave it anyway. nothing is more important than dear old life. Because without it you don't get to enjoy anything.

@revan: chill. try saying "guzfravah" a lot of times it helps let the steam out.

Simple Rant: I can't beat Mike using spamming cheesy Christie moves in Tekken but did a fluke while using a spamming Jack-5. Where the heck did my 10-strings went?

Every night, memories of my past comes to haunt me. I want revenge on everyone. They all have to feel the pain that I always feel. The feeling of being castigated, outcasted, demonized. No one understood me, ridiculed me for what I was, destroyed my sense of self being. They tried to take me down, but as a phoenix I will rise again and burn them in my flames.

I want them to feel the pain that I felt, ten thousand times. Each and every one of them. I want to hunt them down and make them pay.

They, who destroyed my childhood. They, who made me feel despair. They, who ****** up my world view. They will all burn.

BJ Edit.

Any names or locations? If it comes down to payback or some such, hey, perhaps something can be arranged.

Though if you dunno how to track down the specifics (or if there aren't any) then I'm afraid you're outta luck.

Those who wronged me were from a decade ago. I dunno if I could still remember the names. But the faces, oh the faces. They haunt me every single day.

Well, if we can't find them, we can't make them pay. So if you want to make them pay, you'll have to find them. Do that and then we can talk.

Although, word to the wise, it's best to let go of your anger. The road to revenge goes nowhere; believe me, I know. But hey, I admit it's not easy to just turn your back on stuff like that, so you know... go with what you feel is best.

Rant Mode: Thesis has me down. It's going well all told, but it's a lot of work.

I guess the working world is like this? Except with minor pros? I hope there are minor pros. Give me that, at least.

So I've heard...

For me, worst thing is the commute to and fro Makati.

And the sad thing is, the effing company moved to Makati...and just when QC will probably rise as the next commercial/business district.

Not quite. We instead have to read books with batshit explanations like "it should be obvious that la-da-da is true". WELL HOW THE :consored: IS THAT OBVIOUS?! It's up to the reader to figure out! >_<

... so, yeah, that sort of thing.

Pedophilia is just SICK.

Insecurity, is at the heart of pedophilia. Typically, pedophiles have trouble relating to people their own age. They need to feel they have power and control in a relationship, which is easy with children. One pedophile, "PwC," attests to this, writing on a pedophilia Web site:

"I'm 21 years old, and a virgin, I've never even kissed a girl. I have no job, and can't keep one. I'm frustrated that I'm a virgin, and it seems very unlikely that I'll ever get the kind of woman I want, and I'm desperate, because I need love. I never have molested a little girl, never! I want to though, I'm truly desperate. I want to hold a little girl in my arms, and tell her I love her, and that I'll keep her safe, and protect her, that appeals to me greatly."

I am throwing chaff to the wind. Bato-bato sa langit...
