The campaign still has no name, so bear with the title Razz

ONE SHOT CAMPAIGN
A Infiltration/Retrieval City-based(mostly) campaign.
Setting: Mainly Selentia
Time: post gith-war

Character Creation Mechanics:
Flavor: You are well-known mercenary group (or adventurers, still don't know which appplies better) that was hired by Don Emmanuel V to retrieve a book from the hand of a merchant.
Ability Score Generation: Two set 4d6, discard 1 lowest (via Invisible Castle or d6 rolls, whichever I witness) 32pt buy if set is unsatisfactory (DM's discretion).
Races allowed: Mostly Core races, with exception on Dwarves and Orcs. They are known to be enemies of Selentian empire.*
Illumians

Other races are available with the DM's permission.

Suggested Base Classes: I suggest to take classes with high skill points and good class skill list. Spellcasters is also good, using it for stealth. NO PSIONICS (unless otherwise convinced). Laughing
Prestige Classes: Discuss with DM.

Starting level: ECL 10, halfway exp to 11.
If you're using races/templates with LAs, you don't buy-off
(it's a one shot, so i won't be giving exp. Razz)

Starting Gear: Regardless of starting level, start with standard equipment for a level 10 PC. Max individual gear =half starting gear.

Sources Allowed: ANY SOURCE (except BoEF) as long as I allow it. Be also reminded to have a hardcopy of any non PHB, DMG, or MM1 material you are using. Very Happy Note: because of this, I won't always use RAW.
Game Time: Preferably Wednesday. It's a one-shot, don't expect it to be 1 hour long Razz

For more information about Selentia, check out Campaign notes: Selentia thread

So far people who are joining is/are:

Marx - Manolito (invi roll)
Coro - Brando (rolled already)
Juabe - Piping (rolled manual)
Xtian - Armando (invi roll)
BJ - Juancho (invi roll)
Myke - Joselito

The name beside your name should be the name used if you're using invisible castle

6 players! Might cut it out there.
Will be posting specifics on Pharagos Thread.

Some of the spells are quite powerful, especially in a place where there are many mundane commoners who does not know any sort of magic. DISROBE!

But... it's reflex negates... Razz

Don't worry, though, I won't use BoEF here. I am slowly liking my assasin idea... although I might change it to:

Fighter4/Human Paragon1/Assasin3/Human Paragon2.

I'm still unsure.

As for the wednesday time slot: Hey, don't I own that time slot for this sem? >Smile

Of course I don't. I'm not saying I won't allow it on Wed. I'm saying erwin should have asked. But it's all good. I'm a player in this one shot after all. Very Happy

Apparently many people want to join this one shot cmpgn..

If I rule dibs system, the sequence is (if my memory serves right):

1. Coro + Juabe (original players, Emman declined)
2. marx (thru PM)
3. BJ + Xtian (thru post)
4. Myke (on tambayan)
5. Mojie (tambayan also)
6. Angelo (on hobby Razz)

thru that, i chose the first six Razz

UPDATE: edited 1st post.
Edited: made mistake about Myke and Mojie.

Set 1: Teh Suck
15 5 12 9 9 10

it didn't even reach 18-pt buy! Laughing

Set2: Almost Elite Array

13 11 10 16 9 14

27pts, if my math is right.

Tell me, erwin if I'm allowed to reroll.

I might take healer slot.

Is precocious apprentice for Prestige class prerequisites fair game? Also, how much exp do we actually have(for possible crafting of own items/ use of spells w/ exp costs)
Also Flaws on/off?
AP on/off?

@BJ: The 2nd roll is 29 pts, if my math is correct Razz
I'd allow a reroll on the 1st set. The roll is quite disturbing XD

@Coro: What about precocious apprentice? Can you give example?
About the exp, i'll think about that.
Flaws are allowed, as long as it hurts. PM me you're proposed flaws.
AP is dead. Razz

@everybody:
Now that I think about it, (I've been thinking for the past 3 days!), making a city is freaking hard. I may change the premise of the campaign but it will still be an infiltration.

The usual thing people do with Precocious apprentice, get into a prestige class requiring capability of casting 2nd-level arcane spells earlier than usual.

The game has no definite date yet, although I want it to be March 5, Wed (if i'm right) but I still need to ask BJ if he has a scheduled game on that day.

about precocious apprentice, I'd still allow that sort of "trick" hehe..
and Rainbow Servant is not allowed, for those planning to be one out there. Razz couatl jungle doesn't exist here

Which means it exists somewhere else and the goddamn couatls ordered you to infiltrate some guys house. Lol. And even if erwin allowed rainbow servant its capstone ability can't be reached.

The Couatl jungle is so hidden, even the DM can't discern it's exact location.

about quickbrownfox's exp question, I'd rule that you all start at ECL10, halfway exp to 11.

errr.. what do you mean old stat block?

I was referring to the stat block you posted on the D&D Thread. Sorry if I suggested any misconception, my mind was wonky when I posted that.

HELPFUL TIPS (on game day:)
1. Always have a printed copy of any non PHB, DMG, or MM1 material you are using. If you're using an ability/feat/spell/any material which you do not have a copy (on game day), I'll be the one telling you what that thing does (or maybe it just won't work Razz)

2. Be sure that your characters have extra gold to spend on the city. I'll try to make the city interactive with you guys Very Happy. (For example you wanted to buy something) You never know when gold is handy *wink**wink*.
