Ive been wanting to go and climb Mount Makiling lately. I'll bring my COPAL journal in case i see fae. Cool

Although, admittedly, the last time I trekked a mountain was back when I was a physically fit fourth year HS student. In fairness CAT made me tough.

BTW, this new forum's name reminds me of Aiushta.

This makes everything so interesting...
Me and my other orgmates were supposed to camp out this sem break but got cancelled in the last minute.

Makiling was one of the options of the camp out. The other was Mt Cristobal aka the Devil's mountain. Those two are considered twin mountains, as one is sacred and one is ...profane? That is if I am not mistaken got the names right Smile).

I have this question on triple-integrable probability spaces... faeries have a decent bonus to their intelligence score. She can help me finish my reasearch..Laughing

Seriously, I'll ask her a bunch of religion-related questions. If I see a goddess, I'm gonna start seriously questioning some of my beliefs. Sad

WTF? A goddess in front of you and you're still questionning your belief?
When you see a god or goddess, the very first thing you must do is this.

I've camped once or twice, once upon a time.

I think I can cook rice in a bamboo. That's basically the gist of what I've learned in the great outdoors. Embarassed In all honesty I don't think I'll survive the mountains that long. I mean, no pollution? Where's a Manila boy like me going to get his air supply?

That is still experience. We are not hardcore campers anyway. ^__^

And I agree on the pollution part. Laughing

I'm a camper. I have my own camping backpack, tent, and sleeping bag. No cooking equipment like stove.

I agree. One stove is usually enough for a group of about 10 persons in my experience.

I've got a portable stove, pots, pans, the works... A lot of them are overused, though... I'll check if they'll still hold up to more mountaineering...

all-purpose knives, a few plastic plates, and a portable stove that I'm not really sure still works

Hey, if there's one thing I know about Acid Blue, it's that he's a guaranteed skilled scoutsmaster.

Anyway, about this "the great outdoors" thing, why don't we organize something? It is afterall a good experience. I am naturally adventurous, and I'd want our org to go outdoors. That would be fun. I'd like it to happen one of these days...

Admittedly, I hate roughing it. But it won't be hard for me. One thing though: I can lose the tv, the ref, the PC, that soft bed,... But I can never, ever, EVER live without a nice, warm, sanitary toilet. Hehehe... Wink
