I agree. Putting things in favor of spontaneous casters, for once, is not that bad. :p

I agree with what christian said it looks fair with the figures provided and yes I did have NPC's with APs which should be a fair way of balancing the power of characters but out of the topic question, are there action points in the online rpg??? Question

That's Dark Axis' style, at least. I prefer to give AP's to miniboss/-above type NPC's, and cohorts only. Plus they only get AP=1/2 their CR (or in the case of cohorts, AP=1/2 ECL)

With that being said, if a DM wants to give everybody AP's, then that's his choice. Right?

Yup ... It his choice and right. Maybe as long as ... there is a good explanation for that ... If i remember correctly, APs represent luck. I would want to limit those lucks to adventurers (both pc and npc adventurers). So, to all of commoners, no ap.

Are you guys aware of this?

Revan activated an alternate rule for BA in his campaign. poor BA is at 1/2 per level, average is 3/4 per level, and good is 1 per level.

Which means, essentially, that a sor1/bbn4/rage mage2 would have BA=1/2+4+6/4=6, instead of 0+4+1=5. Very Happy

That sor1/crc1/rog1/ftr1/bbn1/rgr1/brd1 build suddenly has a decent BA, hehehe

After conferring with boy bakal and BJ, we decided to shelve the "King in Yellow" campaign arc and have decided to turn it into a storyline event instead. We'll be conferring with each other, and then posting the event results and aftermath soon. Expect big changes in Arcania.

On a related note, this should open up space for BJ to start his planned epic "Chalice" campaign arc.
