Campaign Setting: GeneriLand
Current Story:
After killing the Rogan the Black, who tried killing them, the adventurers took the job of retrieving the missing shards of Dragonforce, an amulet said to contain the life-force of a powerful dragon that once threatened the land, and also what Rogan want to have. They find themselves looking for a man named Marcus, only to stumble to monsters and mysteries they have never experienced before.
They are now venturing an abandon mineshaft once held by the Red Shale company. Due to a case of missing miners, the mine had to close down. The Jund party took it, as it may be the only path to the Emperor's Gate. Unknown to them, the cave is filled with mysteries as they discover what truly caused the disappearance of the people before them.

Feel free to discuss here what you intend to do in the mines. As for Bajula and Ranger of Eos, you'll know by Monday what happened to your characters.

joljersjarass (i think i'll call you JJJ from now on).
I'll allow you to retrain Weapon Proficiency (Rapier) + Shield Proficiency (Light) to Battle Cleric's Armaments + [any feat] since it's partly my fault you had to get light shield in the 1st place. It will only count as your retraining for this level, but not your feat selection.
jjj and szat, make sure you've already fixed you character next week, since you're the only ones who leveled up to 4:
1. Adjust all 1/2 level modifiers to +2 (in the ability+mod boxes, attack rolls, skills, initiative and your passive skills)
2. Choose 2 ability scores, preferrably the ones you use in you class. Increase it by one point. (you can't choose one ability score to get 2 points on it).
Note: if you increase your Constitution score, you increase your HP by one as well.
3. You can get a new feat. Don't forget to tell the source of the feat. If you have a printout of it, better.
4. Increase your HP by 5. that will retroactively(am i using that right?) increase your Bloodied values and Healing Surge Values as well.
5. You have a chose to retrain one skill, power, or feat. (NOT ONE OF EACH, JUST ONE) JJJ declared his retraining already (see above).

you don't have to change anything, other than the one i did (increasing your HP). your assassin and the new build that came out recently are 2 totally different builds.

It has come to my attention that classes will end at Oct 8, meaning there would only be 2 gaming mondays left for us.
Now I want to know if everyone is good on those days. I want you guys to declare NOW if you can't come on either dates. I just want to finish this campaign with everybody intact (not game-wise, as I do not control whether you die or not) so the other players won't feel bad of you suddenly leaving the party, especially with the game reaching its conclusion.
If you think you can't come in one or both days, you could propose for another game day, so long as everybody else are good with said date.
Please respond to this message ASAP. Discuss with your co-players, don't wait for them to come to you, go to them, and tell your collective opinions/reactions/comments to me, in anyway you know. This thread is made for such discussion, so use it.
I'm trying to be strict simply because I want us to have a good game experience, so everybody can have fun, including me. I'm not particularly mad about suddenly being unable to game especially those who says they can't THE DAY BEFORE OR EVEN THE EXACT DAY of the event, but your partymates will be. Each member is important, no matter how bad his dice roll result or how little he has contributed to the party. You'll never know. *dun dun dun*

Well, I don't think we could meet during the sembreak, unless you guys are willing to go to UP even without classes.
Don't worry, I don't plan to 'end' the campaign there, more like it's going to be the 'final episode' for this semester. If you guys manage to have a common time next sem (which I highly encourage) then you could still continue with your characters intact, and explore new lands and/or cities.
So for now:
driza - go go go up to eleven
jjj - good both days
juaberman - no go, has field trip.
Ranger of Eos - no go, project meeting, acads
Infinity_Zero - sick, but will try to come
szat - ???
bong talong - ???
if at least 4 players can make it, we're good to go tomorrow.

Next monday, Oct 4, 2010, would be the last game for this semester.
Game will be held at tambayan, 12nn. We'll start a little earlier because I expect this one to be quite long. If you guys can't come, inform as soon as you can.
I expect the 4 main players (szat, bong, jjj, driza) to be there.
As for the others, I'll inform you via text to see how we'll manage to put you back.

Now some of you request for a game this sembreak. I don't want us guys be going to UP every week even without classes. So I intend us to have only 2 game days this sembreak (if you really want to). For that to happen, I want you guys to do the following:
1. Declare that you are able to come on the planned days (will be announced soon). I still want to continue the adventure with the whole party intact, so no one gets left behind.
2. Propose a backstory or quest for your character. Why did you become an adventurer? Are you searching for something? Are running away from someone? Why the hell did you join up with your current party? Post it here or PM me here or at facebook (if you don't want others to no about it). I will try to include it in the future adventures. Do note that quests give exp 
We'll discuss more on this next monday. Or here.

Due to circumstances, we will move the finale to Friday, Oct. 8,2010. We will start as early as 11am if at least 4 of you are there.
As for backstory, you don't have to go detailed. What I need from it is some sort of quest that are trying to achieve. Not only do you get EXP from it (if you manage to complete it), it also gives you a spotlight in the game, RP wise.
It's not required, but I encourage you to do so. Make it simple and clear, I will provide with the details
So far only driza gave his.

BTW, if you'll be dropping by tomorrow at the tambayan, bring your character sheet, so we could do all checkings of stats and others before friday. saves time

Lolth’s Embrace
Prerequisite: Drow, assassin, darkfire power, assassin’s shroud power
Benefit: When you hit a target with darkfire, you can use assassin’s shroud once against the target even if you have already used it on the target this turn
Unless you recommend a better feat, this is ok. for now
I wanted Venom Hand Master but i do not have a spiderkissed weapon. T_T

Monday Game Finale
Time: October 8, 2010, Friday. Call time is 12nn. But we can start as early as 11am if everybody is there. We can finish as early as 4pm, depending on how you handle the encounters.
Place: Tambayan, or 2nd floor AS in case it rains.
What to Bring: your Updated Character Sheets (i'll be checking before we game, as usual)
If there is conflict in schedule, please inform me ASAP (via text, that will most likely reach me). I expect 6 players on Friday. Any less and expect problems.
Also, to those who plan to change character after this, inform me after the game. We'll also discuss the sembreak game after the finale.

THE SEMBREAK GAME:

NEXT GAME DAY:
Time: October 13, 2010, Wednesday. 12nn call time.
Place: UP HGC Tambayan, or 2nd floor AS if it rains
What Happened So Far:
We find our heroes seeking the exit of the dungeon, only to get deeper and deeper to it. Soon they meet up with Reiza and the ranger of Eos in a peculiar part of the cavern. Treasures are at sight, but it was all a trap made by the intelligent devourers. But they manage to kill them and take the loot. Those chicken-legged brains are actually guarding a portal, to the true end of the dungeon.
They were transported to a pocket dimension, possibly a place somewhere in the UnderDark.They saw what they were looking for, but they were surprised to see another man killing the elusive Marcus. The killer calls himself Allouzi, an alienist who uses the mines to absorb energy to complete a ritual to summon a Giberring Orb. He bears an insignia quite familiar to Chimmy Chammy, for it was the same insignia of the person he has been looking for, the Purple Lady.
Using all the energy absorbed from the living, Allouzi was about to unleash the monster, but with the combined effort of the team the ritual was stopped. Before they could finish him off Allouzi escaped and trapped them inside the dome-like cavern, hoping to bury them alive. But Steneb's quick thinking manage to save them, as he instructed everyone to control portal and make it so that they could return to Harkon City. But they had little time, and they were only able to make the portal go back to the Material Plane. Only time can tell where they will be transported to.

oghma won't be joining for now as he is busy with exams. He will replace Infinity_Zero the game after this one. Infinity_zero can't game during the sembreak so he will be only joining for one game session.
If there is conflict in the schedule please inform me ASAP,so we could fix it.
To those joining in, please have a copy of your source materials, so we wouldn't be arguing what your powers can do.

Seeing that it is exam week, and looks like there is no common time among players, I'll have to postpone the game to next week.
After I confirm with oghma, we'd be most likely be gaming in oghma's place. Details to follow. It might be possible for us to game 2x next week. For now focus on your exams guys

Time: We'll have 3 game days. That will be Oct. 20 (Wednesday), Oct. 22 (Friday), and Oct. 27 (Wednesday). We'll most likely start around 11am, to consider the fact that there will be 8 of you.
Place: Primarily at HGC tambayan. If by chance that we'll not be able to go in AS, we'll game at oghma's place (provided he let us)
I've received most of the players intended back-stories and pursued quests, everyone else can still declare theirs, just not during the game days.
If you'll all notice next week we'll have 2 game days and 1 on the last week of October. I just want this sembreak game to finish before Nov 1, in which case you could enjoy the rest of your break. If there is conflict in the schedule please inform me here (or via Facebook or SMS) ASAP, so we could fix it.

Erwin, can my character have a familiar? It wouldn't affect gameplay anyway. its just for story and flavor purposes. its the skull from his former body (jieber). The skull retains blurry memories from the past. It knows what happened to jieber but cannot identify the people/items involved in his death. I also think its cool to have a floating skull accompanying Torment.
