Made this thread for the, err, "setting" that I use, and particularly for the most recent Monday campaign.
The Arc: The Legacy of Cania
The story so far: After being tasked to return a strange artifact kept in metallic casing, the party discovers it is actually a Nessian Hellfire Rod sought by a rogue faction of Shadar-Kai. The party tails the Shadar-Kai to their fortress in the Plains of Sorrow, where they seek to foil whatever evil plans these fiends have up their sleeves.
Previously on...: The party, after sustaining quite a bit of damage, finds themselves deep within the heart of the Fortress of Sadness.
So here's the thread. My players right now are:
-Knightingale
-juaberman
-erwin
-AAS
-qbf
-InfinityZero (I think)
-[Lori] (who, iirc, has no account on the boards)
If I mentioned your name, please check this thread regularly for announcements etc. Thanks all _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

ANNOUNCEMENT:
Because summer is coming up, the Monday campaign will be postponed temporarily. Let's all discuss your summer schedules once everyone's nice and settled, yes?
Carry on, Generifolks. _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

I'm good anyday i guess, as long as it's announced at least a week before.
Or we could go one big game day every 2 weeks or so.
I hope this game continues _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

I'll be having summer classes! Depending on what classes I get, the earliest I have free time will be from 3PM onwards.
I'M STUDYING FOR A TEST RIGHT NOW ACTUALLY but while I'm here, have a quick hacked-up character profile.
Chalcedony Haze
Tiefling (Teen Idol Diva) Bard
Equally (in)famous forher obsessive fanclub and her on-stage performances (actual singing ability debatable), it's rare to find any corner of Generiland that hasn't heard of "Haze" and her talents with the gittern (unless, of course, you're a wizard who hasn't come down from his derelict tower in the past decade). Propelled by the determination to become a household name and bring light and love of music to every village and hamlet in Generiland (with no small assistance from her agents, mysterious and shadowy figures who only appear to hand Haze her weekly allowance and point her in the direction of her next tour location) the bard's travails take her across Generiland, exterminating pockets of depressing music and horribleness when she sees it.
Instead of an official escort, Haze is constantly orbited by a rotating cast of bodyguards, groupies, and would-be scalpers-- not that she remembers any of their names, or notices when any of them make a French exit. Please. She has bigger fish to fry.[/code] |

I will also be taking summer classes and since this is the only way for me to graduate on time if I don't fail anything now, my earliest time available will be 4. I still don't have a character after dying twice because I'm choosing between monk, ranger or seeker. I guess I'll make up my mind soon. But the back story is still the same: I seek the land of the owlbears!!! |

So what's the plan?

Personally, I'd like to run games on Fridays now as opposed to Mondays. Of course, I'd like to hear everybody's thoughts first, and then we'll see. _________________ And I'm still, still longing. Still cold... so cold. |

I'm good with any day, as long as it's not on a weekend. The time is a different issue, though, and since I don't have any fixed summer schedule yet, you'll just have to wait and see on that. |

I might not text since i'm currently loadless, but i'll probably go
I might change my character with something else, i'll use someone from my stock of 'cool builds i really want to play but i can't since they are highly unoptimized' collection. _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

guys/gals, i'm planning a Level 5 campaign set in GeneriLand.
If anyone is interested pls post here or text me.
Here's the campaign plot:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rumors have spread about the Draconic Orbs, powerful artifacts said to grant wishes, like genies do. But little information is truly known about the Orbs. Some say there are 7 of them that you have to collect, some say there only 5. Some even say they don't grant wishes at all, but still a powerful artifact granting unimaginable power to its user. Whatever you may believe in, your party set to an adventure to find them, and uncover the true mystery, and power, behind the orbs!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyways, those who wish to play must have a Level 5 character. You could:
-continue a pre existing character of GeneriLand (from b_b's campaign). Just set the character sheet to level 5.
-Make a new character, following the 22 point buy system and the rules making a high level character in DMG.
-or neuter and use a Bonethrall Campaign Setting character (on how to use such character go here. You cannot use a character of level 6 or higher, but you could use a character of level 4 or lower, adjusting the char sheet to level 5.
Note: to those character that was tweaked from a low level to level 5, don't worry about having fewer magic items. I'll fix that
I'll accept up to 5 players. (negotiable)
As for the time, we could just compensate, i believe some of you have classes up to 3pm.
For place, tambayan should be fine. Or if b_b is joining this campaign and is willing to allow us to game in his place, we could game there
Note: since i am currently a jobless urban poor citizen (totally exaggerated, except for the first part), i would require a small fee of P100 per session (not per player)(regardless of how long/short session is), just to cover my transportation and food expenses. I'm no pro DM, just trying to be one. I hope that won't be a problem _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

>_> I want to bring Limerick over since she's about that level...I do however have to ask if this is ending before the eleventh of next month...or if this is a plug and play like the previous generiland game...which would make the point moot.
Edit: Limerick is surprisingly item poor. XD Will I port over her items or do I follow the DMG rules for creating a high level character instead?
Edit: Also changing hop up to tumble as my utility power. _________________ All hail the Bongolian Ultraprawn! |

We could start at Friday (april 30) if there are at least 4 players.
At what time are you guys available?
@AAS: Hmm.. limerick is indeed left behind, item-wise. This campaign setting is teeming with magic items.
I'll allow you to follow DMG rule for getting items on a high level character, if you're playing Limerick.
we need 1 more. i think it would be either juaberman, b_b, or INfinity zero.
@knightingale: can you PM me your phone number? it's more convenient if i get everyone's number. _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

And to remind everyone, in case you haven't read the last part:

We meet at tambayan tomorrow at 1pm. knightingale won't be around until 2, but I expect everyone else to be on time. We'll meet earlier so I could entertain your questions about your characters, creations, backgrounds, and such.
Don't be late. I'll try not to be late as well
@InfinityZero: I don't think your eladrin is an elemental.
Also, are you sure you want get Aegis of Assault with Str 11? _________________ There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who defy their fate

Oh I forgot to change that. It was originally a Genasi. Yup. Just 11 strength. That's what the Intelligent Blademaster feat is for. Oh and yeah, based on the circumstances with my dorm application for next sem, I may come later than 2 (tomorrow is the deadline ) I'll try to get earlier if possible |

I'll still be gaming, that's fo'sho. I'll post up a proper character stats rundown when it is, uh, not 1AM. Haha. :C Sorry for the last-minute bailout; had to run after things.
I should be available for all those days, though, unless major groupwork stuff comes up. |

Note that I've retrained Mounted Combat to Pact Initiate; considering that she's bid farewell to her beloved Momo for the moment! This is kind of a clunky character ref sheet because lol I'll be printing it out for my own reference tomorrow. /o/
