Recruitment!

Redwall City Blues
A Bonethrall game
Type PBP. RP heavy.
Character Levels Negotiable (offhand 2-4)
Players 4-5
Campaign Synopsis Welcome to Redwall, the ugliest zit in the continent. Found deep in the desert waste, it has survived only by walling off the only source of water for leagues and that, my friends, is the only thing Redwall has going for it. The city is only a city in form. In spirit, it is nothing short of a warzone. The local guards are powerless to stop the rise in crime. Garbage and bodies socialize in the streets and no one walks out alone whether it's night or day. Redwall is a bad place to live in and some even go so far as to call it cursed, whispering that the deep red stain on its wall were caused by a spell of protection cast using the blood of a 1000 children as sacrificial fuel and that these very souls now haunt the city in vengeance. Desperate, the city guards have now opened its doors to any adventurer willing to sell their services for a tour of duty or two. Will you answer the call? Will you make a difference? Hell, will you survive to tell the tale?

I'm in. Most likely using Kevra, PBP extraordinaire, unless you're willing to allow level 1 characters.

Just to make sure, where does Red Wall exactly located? I'd like to put Domon there but he's a picky character. He doesn't want to move away from the Lower Lands, regarding his quest.

I'd like to join in too, but I run out of characters already. If your willing to allow level one characters I'll be creating one. Unfortunately Allen's already level 5 so that's a level to high. Please oh pretty please allow a level one character.

If you do, I'll be using a level one half-elf bard. Wink

Guys, remember that the levels are negotiable. As to that Erwin. I'll still have to have another look at the map and find a place for it. I'll see if I can accommodate.

RP heavy. Sounds very interesting to me. Unfortunately, My only available character is a level higher than the tentative. If you were to allow level one characters, I could whip up one, depending on the party's needs.

Now that I read the synopsis thoroughly, I don't think Domon would be going anywhere near there. Nor will Simon.

Since everyone going for a new character, might as well make my goblin idea this past few days. Nobody seems to use goblins for now, since it's unsupported, race-wise.

What are the chances of survival and eligibility of a Level 1.5 Human Warlord?

Actually, I'll probably pass this campaign, since I don't think I'll be always online as before.

Alright if you want it low level, then fine. I'm a run it for 1-3 then. XD And fairly good, Gareth. As long as you guys don't do anything silly you should be fine.

If the rest of the participants have no objections... may I bring Dominic in?
Well... definition of silly is subjective XD

...should be a good contrast to a character who has lived in Ilawith for most of her life.

RP heavy is a good change of pace. ((this will also help me gague what kind of play i'm going to present HGC players once we go full-swing with the sanctioned games.))

by the way... I'm still not done generating a map of Bonethrall (The Campaign Cartographer program is a bit tricky to work with.) so will this setting be smack in the middle of the wasteland?

Bad place where scum might hide, sacrificed kids, and its a PBP to boot? Fhrayle Brittlewood, reporting for duty! XD XD XD He's my lvl 3 cleric, affiliated with the Sinagthari.

As it's rp-heavy, I don't see problems with a two-leader overlap. Now, if d_a wants to go on with his bard, there could be a problem... >.>

Don't worry about it. My build would eventually turn out to "concede in the discussion or DIE!!!!"

Just in case no one wants to play defender, I made a tempest fighter.

Finally, I can get to play something else other than a defender. Very Happy

Let's see...
two leaders, a striker and a probable defender

I'll probably be whipping up a controller.

Wait, I'm not yet 100% sure with this one. I want to see how my prelims turn out first, if it's okay with AAS. What day did you plan to start?

Well, I'm sick again so offhand, the answer to that is when we have a clear roster and when I get better. Although we do have enough players already. When do you get results for your prelims, BJ?

Start of August, theoretically. You know how stubborn some professors can be with regards to schedule.

If it's too much of a hassle, i could back out. @_@ In any case, I need time to spend on the ebook I'm making (which is finally rnning again somewhat, yay!)

Gareth here. I'm bringing the pre-existing warlord accepted in the Cast of Characters. Though she hasn't been updated in that thread yet.

I'm ok for this one. Seeing how the lineup is still uncertain, I'll most likely be bringing along a defender.

I can tell you now that roles won't be all that important but if you still want to bring in another defender that's your call.

Ahh... the impending doom that an Idealistic Warlord will bring upon her peers... this should be a classic.

Didn't dark_axis say that he would be using a bard?

Yeah I'd be using a bard in this one since I thought that the description says its RP heavy the best character to use with be a bard.

What are the posting requirements, AAS? If it's not too heavy, I think I'll be okay. Razz

As usual, I'm game Very Happy

It's fun to play, even if my character's not built for whatever this module is. Razz

By the way, AAS. Thanks for your efforts, AS Hall is now in my venue list. I placed the RPGA requests a few days ago. We can expect something to arrive before that SM Marikina AEGIS thingy.

By the way... are there any other "common knowledge" that my character from Ilawith should be familiar with regarding this region? or is everything we know already included a few posts above this?
