No there won't, as org activities come first. The next game day will be held on March 16th.

Game proceeds tomorrow, 12nn-4pm as usual with a one hour leeway.

I'll jog after, so I can only really game 'til 5.

Oh, Ultrafagnus is lost in the library. So you're down to 5 players for tomorrow. Razz

Ah, the last game day was a slog, but you guys managed to get through. I was thinking about downsizing the opposition, but then I realized that as far as resource economy goes, you are actually going along just fine, and lowering threat levels mean that you'll level slower. The boss fights may kill you faster that way.

Besides, you guys were the ones who wanted to have all strikers. Wink

Will UP still be open on Monday? If so, we have no scheduling problems. I want to try starting by 12 so that I can fetch my girlfriend by 5pm for jogging.

Ah, and just a reminder; the Pyramid of Radiance is arc 2 of In the Name of the Sun. Meaning it's connected to arc 1. *hint, hint*

In any case, I see things going smoother now that you've got an extended rest and have access to several word powers.

Will UP be closed? If not, we'll game there. Tell me if it's closed, so I can make arrangements ASAP.

It shouldn't be. People are still submitting, and there will be a few more exams.

Yev and Kyris should be splitting the books, with Yev providing the storage, and Ky doing the sales end of the deal.

Also, are we doing anything with the arborean heart, or do we leave the Child with Yevor?

You can leave it with me if you want. I do have nature as a skill. We might be able to use it for a bargaining chip or something else.

As I've said before, I will be unavailable on the 13th due to work-related issues.

The schedule for the game, thus, is on the 20th. Once you have determined whether or not you'll be able to come for certain, please post here.

Please confirm/say that you can't go ASAP. I wouldn't want to change the schedule on the night of the 19th (I'll be DMing another game, so I won't be online, then) because of last-minute pull-outs.

But do refrain from committing if you are yet unsure.

Two things I'd like to raise:

1.
I'm still good to roll on the 20th, but I may be entering sarariman mode real soon, possibly as early as the 27th, so schedule may become much harder. I'd like to propose weekend games if you guys are game, or if not, then evening games if possible. I'll keep you guys posted on what my work schedule might be. It's flexitime output-oriented stuff, so I may be able to negotiate mondays off...but no guarantees.

2.
I'd like to propose that we start compensating our DM for his services again. BJ agreed to DM Pyramid of Radiance gratis because he suddenly changed his schedule to accomodate his work. We assumed that Pyramid would take about 4 sessions all in all then, and we've already hit 6 or seven sessions, iirc. BJ's more then made up for the sudden shift in sked, so I figure we should start compensating him again for his work for PoR. What do you guys think? Transpo and food isn't cheap, and the DM does burn money for both.

Post Posted: Fri Apr 24, 2009 9:36 am    Post subject: Regarding Monday Reply with quote
There was talk about gaiming at boy_bakal's place from 10am-5pm on Monday, but I am uncomfortable with the notion, especially as;

*AAS has a class from 10am-11am
*Traveling to UP for jogging is going to be a chore; travel will get the joggers tired, so they'll jog less, etc etc. Not to mention that there is some lag time from finishing the game to actually leaving for jogging.

Because of this, we'll revert back to the Hill for Monday. That being said, May 3 (Sunday) is an ideal schedule for whole day gaming. As before, I propose my place so I can use DDi for gaming more smoothly.

So, sound off! Who's good to go/not good to go on May 3?

@Revan: I appreciate the gesture, but I like to keep my word. I did say that I'll DM PoR for free, so I'm sticking to it. After this is over, though, I won't do any other charity work for awhile. Wink

That said, I think you're good to go on the 27th (correct me if I'm wrong). how about the 3rd and 4th?

If it would be on May 3, may I ask what time do we start and end? The place is good for me. I actually enjoy the gaming environment in BJ's house. Plus I get to play with his cute adorable dog. lol

I was thinking 9am-whenever. AAS, for one, may need to go home early, so that may imply 6pm at the latest.

Still, it's a Sunday, and I want to know first if any member of the party is absolutely no go on Sunday.

I'm no go on the 3rd. I'll need to get the flow of work in hand before I dare take up weekend gaming. Also, AAS and juaberman seem down a while, so I take it the weekend game won't push through?

BJ's told me that he's no go this monday, so Pyramid's on hold for a week. We might not resume until we get juaberman back. Also, xp will be to follow he says.

I can confirm Revan's announcement. And although juaberman is back, fate intervened for i already arranged another appointment for me on Monday. I'll try to catch up with jogging.

Guys, I would like you to somehow maintain a presence here on the boards. Do you like how the game is progressing? Do you want to explore a particular aspect of your character's quest? Remember, guys; this is not just an announcement thread. It is also where we can talk about the game in general.

Bottom line is, I'd prefer it if the players showed enthusiasm for the game. It is a game, after all, and if you're not enjoying yourself, it kind of defeats the purpose.

Don't be afraid to talk about the game here! This is what this thread is supposed to be about.

Ah, xp from the 4-man party session:
*Level 9 characters receive 1012xp
*Level 8 characters receive 1266xp

Tentatively, I plan to resume gaming on May 11, 2009. I am, however, having doubts about that, as i may have DMing duties on May 9-10 as well.
